    Default Newcomer!

    Hi Girls!

Hoping I can join your thread. Here's my story....
Had a DD in April this year via ICSI. I'm older (35) so
getting straight onto number 2. Physically I'm
probably not in the best shape for number 2 as I put on
a lot of weight with both my job I've had the last 3
years and also the baby weight. So I have 2 focuses at
the moment to lose weight and to hopefully do
a FET in Jan. I'm actually just waiting for my period
to come and I've been waiting all December! Periods
have been all over the shop since pregnancy. There's
a lot of waiting with IVF and it doesn't get any easier!

Wishing everyone heaps of fairy dust and for 2012 to be our year x

    Hi ladies,

I'm jumping on this thread, I'm doing a FET cycle (with HRT) in January. My transfer is booked for 3rd Jan, which is only a week away!

I've done a heap of stim cycles and ended up with OHSS twice, so it's nice to have no injections and no follicle tracking this time around. I don't feel like I'm doing anything for it, other than popping 14 pills (hormones and vitamins) a day.

Good luck to everyone as January approaches!

    Welcome Carrington and Babystepswa!!

Carrington- Congrats on having your DD earlier this year. It is very uplifting to hear stories like yours. And yes, spot on......IVF certainley tests ones patience.....ALOT of waiting goes on. Good luck with the FET!

Babystepswa!- I can relate to ohss.....thats nasty! You must be very pleased with the cycle you are doing this time. 3rd of JAN...thats just around the corner. You can start us all off with the BFP's. Do you take the blackmore Vitamins?

A big hello to everybody else. Hope you are all having a relaxing chrissy break! I see my fs in 2 weeks.....time should fly as that is the week i start work! So excited about having my 1st FET.

    Thanks for the welcome Tinkers.
My daily vitamins are 2 x Blackmores Pregnancy & Breastfeeding Gold, 2 x Citrical +D (Calcium), 2 x Vitamin D, 1 x MegaFol (Folate). Plus I'm taking 6 x Progynova and 2 x Prednisolone tablets, and will be on aspirin after the transfer I'm sure. Not to forget about the pessaries, I have had 6 nights of 1 x Estrogen, from today I'm starting 2 x Progesterone and 1 x Multi (estrogen/progesterone). It's going to be fun taking "time out" over New Years activities to do all the pessaries.

When is everyone else starting their cycles?

BecT- Happing jabbing!! You will be fine, the first jab is always the scariest.......then it becomes routine.....and not so scary at all.

Mildly. They withheld the trigger injection so it didnt get any worse. Not fun. Was in a lot of pain, especially going to the toilet and felt really crook. Dont want to go there again. At least now we know for sure i have PCOS

BecT- Good idea not have trigger.....you dodged a bullet, lol!! Mild ohss is still so nasty.
I had severe ohss, so can definately relate to you. I didnt have transfer thank godness as it would of been alot worse. I was in hospital for over a week.
Like you said, now you know you have pcos and hopefully being over stim. can be avoided.
Do you give yourself your jabs or do you get DP to do it?
