    Default nappy funding

    can any one point me in the direction of funding for nappies .My son is almost 6 and still in nappies .

    Ive jusr gotten this through.

    Theres a payment scheme of about 500 per financial year through caps and theres enable nsw.

    I cant link on my mobile but im sure they would come up under google.

    It's called CAPS (Continence Aids Payment Scheme) and it's done through Medicare... you can just ring them and they'll give you the number to ring or google it. You can get it in one lump sum or a split payment for the year.

    The paperwork was pretty simple, from memory the doctor had to fill in a section. Once they recieved the application it didn't take very long to get the payment through (compared to the wait we have for most disability items).

    Over 6 up our way apparently. I have an 8yo but yeah apparently over 6 here.

    I would have thought it was the same age nation wide because it's funded through Medicare... I know it's 5 and over in Vic. That's really unfair if it's different ages in different states.
