7 weeks! Wow this pregnancy is going fast! Buying a doppler was the best thing I ever did. I can't remember where I got it from but I only ended up paying around $50 plus postage so make sure you shop around - you can get seriously ripped off otherwise!! Just don't be alarmed if you can't hear it at 12 weeks....its quite common not to be able to hear it until around maybe the 16 week mark.

Has morning sickness kicked in yet?

Hi girls scan is in 24 hours!!! Its going be such an awesome mothers.day present for mil. We are pivking her up and taking her what she thinks is brunch ohhh I cant hardly wait!!!

Im with you pb I cant handle sitting doing 'nothing' I go bonkers too!! But your colegue is right u r growing a human!! So glad she is growing such a relief!

I wouldnt buy a doppler yet! Those things scare me!! My naturopath could find and hear hb at 11weeks, doctor couldnt find anything at 15 weeks so I of course completely freaked out!! Then midwife found strong loud hb at 16 weeks. I wamted to get one but I would freak out too much if I couldnt hear anything!

Yep im totally with you on that one Edi! They're the most amazing investment once you know you'll be able to hear the heartbeat (and before you can feel him/her moving), but before that and you'll just be a nervous wreck!! We were able to hear ours clearly at 16 weeks, but if you're really skinny you might be able to hear it earlier. I guess it's your call.

You are SUCH a good daughter-in-law, Edi! She will be SO excited!

My poor future mother-in-law has been rather left out of the whole process - long story but her and DF had a MASSIVE fight last year and she's basically ruined it for herself. Plus she's always had a thing against me because I'm not Indonesian (DF's mum is Indonesian and his dad is a Kiwi) and we're having a baby before we're married ( I know right, isn't it worst thing in the world!). But I decided to be the better person and asked if she'd host our baby shower. I definitely won't be winning any DIL of the Year awards but I know she appreciated it.

I saw the doctors yesterday and I can go back to work next Thursday! It's only for three weeks as we go to Perth for our specialist follow ups and then I'll be on maternity leave, but hey, it gets me out of the house! Lets see how long the work-ethic lasts lol

Hope you're all having a wonderful Saturday

    Xxx

29 weeks today We have a growth scan on Thursday. Fingers crossed our little girl has grown (though my photo comparisons dont show much of a change) otherwise we could be meeting her in three weeks time...
No, that's fine... IVF is hard to get your head around, ask what ever you like, I like educating others :-)

The injections were to force my body to produce more eggs, they were removed under a general......
They got 20 eggs out but unfortunately only 3 were viable once the sperm was injected (ivf icsi - google it) we had one transferred & became pregnant (you know how that ended) & we have two frozen.... So now AF is finished I'm having bt every second day along with internal ultrasounds & we need to catch ovulation, 2 days after ovulation another one will be transferred (as my embryos they grew are 2 days old before they were frozen) so they badly replicate a real (natural) cycle!
I'm going with the power of positive thinking & I'm sure this next one is going to be a 9 month sticky one hehe

29 weeks - wow!! So exciting

Thanks for all the info MARTTC, I too find the process intriguing.. I have so much respect for the people going through it all.. I honestly don't know if I'd have the strength to do it.. You are an amazing woman MARTTC and don't you forget that.. You will get your little bundle of joy, I know it xx

No morning sickness over here which I am happy about, my mum never had any with me so maybe I'm one of the lucky ones.. I've been nauseous but not to the point of vomiting.. I'm still POAS every now and again, as it doesn't feel real due to my lack of symptoms.. I know every pregnancy is different but i guess its just a way to reassure myself.. Is that weird??? Still really tired and hungry.. Boobs haven't grown as yet but they are definitely fuller!! And I've been craving milk so bad lol!!
