Hmmm i would think that he'd still be entitled to it....you dont have to take it straight away. I think you have either 6 or 12 months? Worth looking in to i suppose?

Come on Mini-Nic! We're eagerly awaiting your arrival into this world You're doing so well, Nic. And the end is very near!

    Hi Nic!!! (& everyone)
WOW you are so close now... So exciting! Cannot wait to hear about it all...
I'm all ready to start we have our fertility specialist appointment on the14th of Jan & AF is due approx the 15th (hoping it's late as my AF fluctuates and the injections must start CD2) if I miss this cycle ill have to wait another month so here's hoping we start injections in 2 weeks!

I'm feeling excited, scared, nervous but most of all I feel this is it, this is our turn & our dreams will finally come true... It's been a hard slog & some friendships have failed to be there through the journey, the hard times! But from a needle phobe, saying she can't wait to start jabbing, well that has to mean something about how important this is to us...

Thats great MARTTC Such a positive attitude which I am sure is going to help you on your (hopefully very short) IVF journey. You have come so far and endured so much but look at the amazing person you have become. Its so inspiring And as for those 'friends' you've lost along the way....they clearly weren't upholding their end of the 'friend' bargain. Friends are meant to be with you through thick and through thin. In my opinion, its best to leave these people behind. In fact, its actually a good thing to find out where you stand with people sooner rather than later, as painful as it might be.

Had our day stay today.. Bubs is still happily hanging out inside.. BP, fluid, all fine.. Seems I'm not quite ready for bubs to be here yet, cervix still closed and posterior, but short and soft so thats a good sign.. Midwive couldn't quite get her fingers up there to do a proper S&S but she had a bit of a 'fiddle'.. Having cervadil on Tuesday and booked in for an induction on Thursday, which will make us 41+6.. Not happy, feeling a bit let down by my body And by the fact that all the midwives say different things.. The middy we had last Friday said they won't let me go to 10 days over, but the middy today said they are happy to let people go 13 days over, which will be us.. I was in tears down there, I know they mean well but you'd think they would all be on the same page about how long to wait until inducing someone..

BUT I've started an eviction campaign on bubba.. Got some clary sage oil, raspberry tea and EPO tabs.. And if I'm still going on Sunday, going to give the castor oil a go!! Not the way I was hoping today would go, but I'm happy to finally have an end date!! 6 days to go!!!

MARTTC- I agree with PB, your 'friends' that have dropped away over your IVF journey aren't worth it.. Try not to worry about them and focus on you and your DH.. I know we are all just imaginary people on a computer, but we are all here for you and will be regardless of whatever happens.. Anytime you need to talk or vent or share your good or bad news, anything we are here to listen...

Try not to be too discouraged hun! There is still time. All those ideas sound great just step away from the castor oil!!!! Trust me I tried it it was horrid!!!!! The worst pain of my life and it did nothing. I know its hard but just try to enjoy the last few days with just you and your dp these will be the last days your baby is all yours inside of you. Trust me you will miss it when its over!
