Another miserable post from me - sorry!

Was kept in hospital again yesterday coz they werent happy to send me home. I lost my bundle and had a massive breakdown. I dont know why really. I think i was just really hoping to go home and feel sorry for myself there instead of a place where im surrounded by work colleagues.

Anyway they must have felt sorry for me as they wrote me up some sleeping pills which worked a treat. I still feel like crap but at least i slept.

Now just waiting for the doctor to see if i can go home and to hopefully be given an induction date of sometime next week. The midwife gave me a whole bunch of information on it and was talking about what happens when youre induced at 38 weeks so hopefully she knows something that i dont know in regards to the induction date.

I cant believe weve reached the 37 week mark. After everything weve gone through i never thought we'd get there. Its now technically a full term baby!! And let me tell you, they invented prams for a reason - So you dont have to carry around a 3+kg baby everywhere you go. Now they need to work on some form of pregnancy pram coz its seriously hard work carrying a 3+kg baby all day every day!

I will do personals when i get home but want you to know im thinking of you, particularly merri and marttc.

Glad to hear from u pb. Yay, a full term baby. Seriously take it easy this next week and I don't think u should keep troubling yourself if ur home or there, so long as they're doing what's best for u both. I'm sure ur work colleagues also want the best for u. Ur almost there hun, so do whatever it is u have to. I know ur feeling uncomfy but at least ur not gonna get to 41 weeks plus 3 which is the longest they let people go. Hopefully you'll find out soon today what date u you'll be holding ur bubba in ur hands xx

    Hey Ladies

I've been lurking a bit but not often, pb hope your little one is here soon x
    Merri - hang in there
Nic Edi & Zoo thanks for all your messages too xxx
Glad you are all doing well!

IVF is over fir us for now, I've moved clinics to Monash & I'm feeling positive moving forward.... I'm being thoroughly investigated now, nit just DH... Currently on Clomid (ovulation medication) in the meantime to increase my fertility chances, I'm booked in for a laprascopy & hys August 6th, depending on my results will depend whether I continue clomid a few more months or if it's back to IVF :-/
At the least I feel like I'm being treated with care & not just a company that wants my money and does not care about me!

I'll be popping in and out as I'm really in limbo land regarding my conception, natural thread?? Clomid thread??? Ivf thread??? I'm not really getting myself into more, I need a bit of a break

    Xox

Completely understand MARTTC, pop back in whenever you want
Nic, I am enjoying my bellybean, it is a bloody expensive pillow, and to be honest doesn't look like much, but it does seem to hold me on my side really nicely, and I have noticed a definite decrease in my lower back pain.

    1:900 for downs
    1:1500ish for tri 13
    1:5000ish for tri 18..

Hopefully bubs will cooperate tomorrow so DH can hear him/her!!

Thats fantastic Nic!! Both on the bloods and the heart beat. You will soon find yourself obsessed with that doppler!! Is it not the best sound in the world? I recorded it on my phone and sent it to my mum, dad and bestie. I had three phone calls afterwards with people on the other end bawling their eyes out!!

Zoo, i can't believe you've got less than 14 weeks to go! Insane! Have you started shopping yet? Or started planning the nursery?

Marttc, you are a trooper. Sounds like you've got a good plan of attack now though, and the change in specialist will make the biggest difference, mainly mentally, and hopefully its the change you need. Im so sorry the last three cycles have been unsuccessful. I can honestly say I don't know how you are coping as well as you are. You are a strong and truly inspirational woman and I hope with all my heart that you get the sticky baby that you and your husband have been longing for for so long (and sooner rather than later).

Merri, I hope you're still hanging in there. I can only imagine how nerve-wracking the next few weeks will be for you. I have everything crossed for you!

Very exciting now pb xx I've started my blood thinners and ouch today's hurt! But I'm willing to give this a red hot go cause the last 3 times I've just been on the half aspirin, so it's exciting to be doing something different, which will hopefully end in a better result. We're heading away on holiday on sat for 10 days so unfortunately won't b round to hear your wonderful news, but I'll check as soon as I'm back, so make sure u write all about the birth and put up some pics xxx
