Default Tested 1 day early -ve, now I'm 1 day late

    Hi,
I've been trying to fall pregnant for 5 months now. This month, as with every month, I got too anxious to wait for the first missed day. I was due to get my period today, and tested yesterday with a -ve reading. It's 10:00pm now and I still havn't got my period. Since taking out my implant 5 months ago it's always come on the 18th of every month. I've got another test, but I promised my husband I'd wait until at least tomorow before I do another test. Seen as I got a -ve yesterday, is there any chance it might come up +ve tomorow?
    Thanks.

Yes there is a chance, but if you haven't got AF or a BFP in about five or so days, you should probably get a BT from your GP.

It's still possible, but I've had the same happen and it stayed -ve.

When we were TTC I had that happen about 5 months after I stopped the pill. After regular cycles I suddenly was like 10 days late. It's really hard when you so want to be, cause if it's not this month then come already so you can start the next month.

I had a few months of irregular periods, got checked for pcos (negative) and ended up on clomid to finally get my BFP 14 months after stopping the pill.

Hopefully you will get pg quicker (this month even) but just wanted to share given similarity of that 5 month mark.

No harm in it, as long as you can handle the potential disappointment. That's coming from a POAS addict though; when we were "sort of trying" last year I was POAS several times a day thanks to internet cheapies.

Hi Nessiej I didn't get a BFP with my first bub until Af was 5 days late, I had apparently gotten pg around cd24 (i have a 31 day cycle) so was too early when Af was first late. Fingers crossed you get a BFP soon!

Did u have the implanon in before?? I had that for 6 yrs all up and it really stuffed up my cycles. I ended up needing clomid to fall pregnant. But I did fall on the first cycle of clomid. My OB said he only likes women trying for 6 months before he does investigations. Might be worth checking it all out. Try the first response pregnancy tests. That picked my pregnancy up 7 dpo. Good luck!!! Can't wait to hear the good news!!
