Hey Kemmy, how are things looking? Still positive?

Chubear, good to hear your IUI went well.

We had a call yesterday afternoon saying that 10 out of the 15 eggs were suitable to be fertilised.
The clinic has called us back to say that only 8 have survived the night. We are still on track for transfer of 2 on Monday and have an appointment at lunchtime.

I hope everything is going well with everybody else.

Quick update from me. I did another HPT this morning, 13dpo and it was a BFN. 99% sure I'm out this cycle :-(

Chubear - this is your magic IUI!! I hope the TWW goes super quickly for you.

Catemer - 8 eggs, that is fabulous! Sending lots of your way for potential twins implanting!!!

Blackduck - I'm so sorry you had another BFN... was really hoping my testing buddy was going to be a BFP! Thanks also for the info re. the pessaries, made me feel a LOT better.

AFM - I tested again this morning and it was still a BFP! The line hasn't really changed darkness at all (I've got them all lined up: 10dpo, 11dpo & 12dpo)... they haven't faded so hopefully that's a good thing too! I guess tomorrow I'll know for sure.

I'm so hopeful because last cycle I had a chemical pregnancy (blood test showed hCG of 8 and it never showed up on a HPT), so hopefully this one sticks! If it was another chemical do you think I'd really get three days of positives?

Also... my bbs are really sore now!!

Good luck tomorrow Kemmy. I really hope it's a sticky bub for you. When I had my chemical pregnancy 4 cycles ago, I got BFPs for 5 days straight and the line got a little bit darker over those 5 days. My HGC was 25 on 13DPO and then dropped to 8 on 16DPO.

My blood test today confirmed a negative for us. It's hit harder than I thought it would, I thought since I knew it was coming I'd be ok.

Big big big hugs Blackduck It doesn't matter how hard we prepare or how much warning we have, the sadness can be overwhelming. It's ok to be sad & have a little cry.....so long as you pick yourself back up and think of all the things in your life to be happy about
