Thanks everyone for your kind words. It meant a lot as I am not telling anyone about what I am doing except a few family members. It is just easier for me, not having all the questions etc, so it is so nice to chat with all of you who understand everything that we deal with each step of the way.

Chubear hope your iui went smoothly yesterday.
Catemer, great to hear yesterday went well. Here we go into the tww! I am only a day apart from you both, so will have to keep updates!

Dancing Queen, damn that AF. Damn her. I am so sorry, it mustn't feel the greatest knowing you have to wait longer for your next cycle. At least it is xmas time and perhaps that may take your mind off things a little, and you can have a few drinkies without worrying about having only one or two.

Skizzie, still, there may still be hope!

Blue Angel, it's wierd, but my injectons seemed to hurt a bit more towards that last few don't know why either - you'd think I would be used to it. Positioning of it? Who knows, but I know what you mean. Catemer's suggestion about the ice sounds good though.
I still think you are amazing for doing it yourself!

Mellington, how's things? I will be thinking of you on Thursday. Hope those follies behave and show themselves!

Kemmy, how are you surviving the tww?
    Any tips on getting through?

    Take care everyone.

Thanks girls, Monday's iui went ok, dr had trouble getting the catheter thru cervix so took a while.
Both dh and I are flu ridden so no extra nookie this cycle, we are both too sick
Since our dr is on leave we gave decided next cycle we are taking off, should this one fail.
Also dr said Monday, if ur taking clexane it should be all month not just the days you take clomid which is what she said the first time. So mire injections for next 2weeks, then either bfp or getting ****ed at nye!
Of course we are hoping very hard this ones a goer, but will have to wait and see.
Trying to keep distracted by decorating cakes
    (did a course, now practicing)
I tried the ice trick -used an ice brick and once needle was in put it back on. It helped I think.
Hope everyone had a good Tuesday!

Hey flynnsmumma... no tips whatsoever for surviving the TWW, I'm !!

I gave in and tested this morning at 10DPO, BFN! Can't say it wasn't a little disappointing. I know it's not over yet but it's still a little disheartening.

Seeing the BFN makes me think even more the symptoms I've been having might be related to the progesterone pessaries? Does anyone else get a lot of 'pregnancy-like symptoms' from using these? I only started them at 5dpo and I'm only using one at night?

I'm exhausted - slept for 10 hours straight last night, I'm hungry like a horse every day needing to eat every few hours, cramps, I'm nauseous the last few mornings, it goes away and comes back again in the afternoon... Grr!

I'm so close to the end of my TWW but not close enough for my liking!

I know Skizzie! Very hard to stay away from the HPT's... I tested again this morning, 11dpo - BFN! Starting to loose a little hope now but I know, it's not over yet.

    Hi everyone

Well.....bt today and sadly BFN, they said af should arrive tonight
DH and I have decided to have a break over christmas, I will certainly be enjoying the festivities - wine, soft cheese & smoked salmon, just to name a few

We have booked a phone appointment with our FS with the probable view of starting IVF in Jan. After 6 IUI's and 3 Miscarriages I am pretty sure IVF will be the direction she will advise us to go. She indicated IVF last time but DH & I wanted to try IUI 1 last time. I feel comfortable with giving it 6 tries, i know we gave IUI a red hot go......now i think it will be time to move on to the next level.

I hope you girls will still have me, even though my journey might be slightly different the TWW will still be a killer & I have come to rely on the support from you all.......we are kindred spirits on the same crazy journey to motherhood.

Sorry this post is all about me, but i know you all understand

skizzie - so sorry to hear about your BFN. Glad that you and DH plan to enjoy your Christmas though - living it up with all sorts of goodies.

Kemmy - that you get a good result!

catemer, chubear & Flynnsmumma - hope that your tww is going well!

    everyone else

AFM - Blood tests showed nothing much happening. Scan this morning -a couple of follies between both ovaries < 10mm. Day 13. So this cycle cancelled!!
A little confused though. FS stated that she might have got a little excited with one of my blood test results if she hadn't known about the PCOS. I'm like WTF (excuse the language).... had some surgery in Aug and she told me after it that my ovaries showed no sign of PCOS! Today she says that she feels that the PCOS was actually there at surgery but not all that evident.
So I am going to have to try again next cycle whenever that may be - AF not very regular at the best of times over 65 days this time.
That hit over the head that my FS wanted to give my ovaries didn't work so she has decided that the hit is going to have to be harder!!! She's talking about slugging them. Next cycle will be 200mgs Clomid days 2-6 with 450iu Gonal-f days 6-12. Man... lets hope that the coming hit will do something more than this one has!

So question for all you lovely people out there... if my ovaries didnt respond very well how come I have been having some incredible cramps over the last couple of days. These aren't things I normally get until just prior to AF arriving.
Oh well.... guess this means that I am going to have the opportunity to work on my weight loss again Am picking it can't hurt but help me!
Sorry about the rant and the all about me post!

Chubear – You must be around 4dpo now? Hope the TWW isn’t too painful for you! Rest up and hope you and your DH feel better really soon... p.s it only takes one so for you!

My DP and I are also taking next cycle off if this one is a BFN because our FS is away over Christmas/New Years. P.S Have fun with the cake decorating, would love to see some pics!

Catemer – are you also around the 4dpo now? Have you still got your DP resting up? Hope Christmas/New Years makes the wait go so much faster for you both.

Flynnsmumma – How’s this cycle going for you? Coping ok?? How much longer have you got to go now?

Skizzie – Enjoying the festivities over Christmas does sound like a great distraction though... if this cycle does end up as a BFN for me I’ll definitely be indulging in some prawns & cold ham!!

How are you feeling about going down the IVF path? I don’t know anything much about it all so can’t offer any thoughts but I’m sure there will be lots of info available to you on here. I think you and DH made a great decision re. the one last time at IUI, had to try your luck right!

BlueAngel71 – I’m so sorry this cycle was cancelled! Maybe hitting it with the Clomid & Conal-f etc will give it the boost that you need for BFP! I hope your FS can find some answers and a treatment plan for you soon!

Tested this morning and BFN at 12dpo - we should know for sure tomorrow as we’ve got our BT scheduled.
