Yeah it was. I remember lol. Can someone link that thread. All these questions were answered. Plus the difference between the old school bogan and the cashed up bogan.

FWIW, I dont wear falsies (if I did they wouldnt be long), I dont have a mullet and I dont consider myself a "Sheila" ....but I do think Im a bogan. I find it funny how far people can look down on bogans like they are inbreeding trailer-trash or something. Guess its either 'Bogans' or 'Snobs' ....I know which Id rather associate with.

I dunno, I think we all have a little bogan in us haha. I'm picturing the AFL *obsessed* people who drink VB etc.

I'm thinking to get some of the nails Sassy pointed out, a nice orange tan, drink some cask wine, and hang an Aussie flag from my car. That would be noice and really classy.

Just had a thought - bogan = Kath & Kim... we all know at least one.

*sigh* the term bogan used to be so simple.. now it seems everyone has at least a little bogan in them, from what I've read on it

If you live in our suburbs it's auto bogan status, no mullet necessary!

I think everyone is a little bit bogan

i definately have a bit of bogan in me. happy to admit it but im not a typical bogan. you wouldnt look at me and think bogan.

watching afl and drinking beer is definately not bogan to me.... my husband pays a couple of thousand to be a member of his afl team, he is far from bogan.

bogans to me - the blokes wear skinny black jeans, music tshirts and wear thongs. they also wear flannellets, fairly uneducated types, speak too loudly in public and have a pack of winnie blues hanging out of their pockets.

bogan chicks are the mums who tell their kids to shut up at the shops. they also yell in public at their kids. their kids dont have shoes on in public. the women wear tight clothing when the probably shouldnt and they dress poorly/cheap inexpensive clothing. have heaps of earrings up their ears. bad hair. love a bit of peroxide blonde with brown eye brows. they speak like 'ya know darl'

thats what i think bogans are and you can definately spot them. in perth they tend to favour the eastern suburbs.
