Default Want a WAHM & WAHD area on bubhub ?

Hi, I know you aren't allowed to do selfpromotion on BubHub.

Is it possible at all to create a thread where WAHM's can add their business pages and websites for people to check out?
Like making categories like toys, clothes, accessories, etc.

I'm not a business woman, but I think that is a really good idea. As long as users can search for what services they are after, rather than getting advertising of products thrown in their faces!

    Hi Misschief ..

I know that most mums on the bubhub forum tend to stick to the forum - but the bubhub site is MORE than just this wonderful (rather addictive ) forum.

There is already a fully functional directory attached to the site here - http://www.bubhub.com.au/directory/ the directory is FREE to list on (and free to access) so you could always apply for a free listing???

I dont really want to register like that. Im only a 1 person business and make my little creatures as a hobby in my spare time.
Its not a registered business with the fair trading either. Its just a little WAHM thingy.
I only sell/showcase my cute creations on a Facebook page. Im not big enough to go through the trouble to set up a website.
If I was a huge business and worked all day every day making my creatures and selling 10 a week, than I would consider registering my business properly with fair trading and on BubHub.

Anyway, it was just a suggestion. Maybe make a special section within the directory for WAHM's and handmade items. I know a lot of people would rather buy stuff handmade by WAHM's, than go to a big shop/business

There are alot of WAHMs listed in the directory linking to their FB sales page or blog ... fantastic FREE advertising opportunity.

    It says:

Free listings will not be provided in the following circumstances:

eBay stores or any other 'third party' based stores

Third party in this case being Facebook?
Also if you can specifically list WAHM's in the directory as WAHM's, people dont have to dig through the huge amount of shops to find a WAHM.

Anyway, I just thought it would make it easier for WAHM's and their future customers

BH is a business, so it could be a good business opportunity. $5/month to be a BH WAHP.

In exchange for this you could supply them with their own forum to discuss business and allow them to link to their stores in their signatures.

I think a LOT of members who are WAHPs would consider it a good opportunity.
