Default Are you making a dent in your Christmas Shopping?

Well, I'm continuing to pay off my layby- should have one out in a about 3 weeks and the other out in about 4 weeks. Should have mine and DS big presents by the end of November!

How are you going with your Christmas shopping?

I'm usually a very last minute christmas shopper. I get a bonus from work every year just before we close the office for holidays, usually around $700 so I just use that and go on one VERY stressful shopping trip before christmas.

The kids are done, I just have to pay off the laybys, which will be done tomorrow. I just have to do my parents and brother plus birthday presents for two of my besties kids who have birthdays in December :-)

The boys Christmas Layby's are almost paid off, but I am putting min $$ on them otherwise I would have them paid off before I am actually able to collect them (1st Dec) Have $80 left on one, and $160 left on the other 2, which has all 2 boys chirstmas and birthday pressies on them. I put DP's pressie on layby today and ordered in his other present, should have that in 1-2 weeks. And that's about all I have done, Still have to buy for my sis, bro, both set of parents (mine and DP's) and DP's bro and sis.. and I think that is all, I usually leave them until around Dec though.

    I cheated.
We got toy fundraiser catalogues from DS preschool.
I just ordered up bulk from there and it all gets delivered mid Dec.
But hey....we're fundraising for preschool at the same time!

I stretch my Christmas shopping out for as long as possible. I love Christmas. Love it. Including shopping on Christmas Eve.

I have to restrain myself for Christmas shopping until I've done my car rego and insurance and paid off a few debts otherwise I will just keep falling behind. I LOVE CHRISTMAS. Ordinarily, I'd have already started but unfortunately just can't until I get some of the other money stuffs out of the way.
