    Hi Ladies!

Sorry have been a bit quiet lately.

Redbirdy was it today you started your antenatal classes at Hobart Private? I don't start mine till the 28th of Feb so would love to hear what you think.

I was made redundant when I was 12 weeks pregnant so have lots of time on my hands. We're now pretty much organised for bub so would be keen to meet up to help keep me sane.

Hope all those with bubs on the way are going well with thier pregnancys!

    Hey stillwaiting,

Yes had my first antenatal class at the Private last night. I think I walked out more scared than when I walked in hehe not because of the information they gave me but because it made it feel so much more real that I will be having a baby in the next few months!! ahhhh.

Last night they spoke about natural labour - signs of early labour, when to call the hospital, when to come in, what to bring, how to handle contractions etc. We also watched a dvd of a couple of ladies giving birth but they were pretty tame compared to what you see on youtube!! I found it good but I think my partner was pretty bored.

Sorry to hear that you were made redundant! That really sucks. Good that you are prepared and organised for bub! Exciting

I think we all need to organise to meet, is there days, times, places people would prefer??
    Glad you're enjoying it

I start Mat leave on the 29th Feb so am going to be pretty free after that.. I'm actually not quite sure what I'm going to do with myself in those 6 weeks before bub comes!!

Are you girls on FB? Might be easier to organise meet ups through there - a bit more personal and private.. through a group or something?

    Hi all,
Heven't been on here for a while as I have been having a few pregnancy issues! Was diagnosed with Cholelithiasis (gallstones) at 22ish weeks, which basically means I am on a strict No-Fat diet as if I eat anything with more than 5% fat I end up in massive pain for hours! Unfortunatly my one huge pregnancy-craving is ICECREAM so this has been a bit of an issue as my stupid self keeps going 'maybe it wont happen this time, its only a little bit etcetc...'. Also had wisdom tooth trouble the last few weeks, all this has made me appreciate how easy my first pregnancy was!!
Hope you other preggy mummies are going well - its getting down to the business end for us due in april!!! scary!

Sucks about being made redundant stillwaiting! I'm in a similar situation - when I went to go back to work after dd1 I found that there were suddenly NO jobs for nurses, so I decided to get preggers again instead!
Meeting up sounds awesome! I will go look for the FB group now
