    Default 30 Weeks...

Violet- How’s it going hun? Blood pressure behaving itself? On the count down to finish work? How far along will you be when you finish up? Good to hear that you seeing someone about your pelvic pain coz I’m sorry to say that it sure doesn’t get any better the bigger and heavier bub gets! I moan and groan like a 90 year old for the first few steps after getting up from laying down or sitting on the couch.....ouch!

Kellymac – How is it going with the new Ob search? How long until you move?? That would be hard to change Dr’s part way through but, hopefully you find someone just as good...fx

Miggins – I totally used to hate the wait in-between scans too! Hopefully the next few weeks fly by for you as as soon as you start feeling movements, you won’t need the scans to tell you bub is fine, happy and safe
Hoping – Huge congrats on your lil-man on the way!!! How exciting! My bub is too big and squished now but, yup...I can remember those kicks on one side of my belly and getting head-butted on the other side! Sleeping on my side with a pillow under my belly felt like she was jumping off the pillow and head-butting the top-side of my belly.....I’d be like, hey lil-miss, are you right in there in your own personal mosh-pitt-womb??!....trying to sleep here! lol
Ellymoe- How are you and your little-one going? Your stronger than me not finding out! I remember our scan-lady saying to us that she often notices the baby of the couple who chooses not to know is usually a boy who happily sits there with his legs spread wide apart pointing (pardon the pun) directly at the scanner....hee hee hee. So she would just quietly move on to scan other parts of bub and everyone goes quiet in the room

Windup- Helloooo! How is Miss Madeline coming along? Getting any sort of routine happening or, still early days for that sort of thing? I bet she’s growing fast?! I hope your getting lots and lots of pics and some video’s so that you can be reminded of all the little mile-stones? How are you going...all recovered after the birth?

Have I missed anyone? I blame it all on the baby-brain so, sorry and hello!

AFM- 38 weeks. Cruzing along pretty good really.....belly is HUGE now. Anything below knee level is way to far down to bother picking up and I have been officially named monkey-toes by my lovely DH as I seem to only pick things up if my toes can lift it off the floor. I even tend to point to low down stuff with my toes now. Seem to have (so-far) gotten away with most of the nasties though...no bloating, constipation, stretch-marks or lovely hemroids though....if I go overdue, they could still be to come! I was found to have a low red blood count so I was put on iron tablets ( and have been downing high fibre foods like there is no tomorrow ever since....so-far-so-good! FX!! ) and I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or not but, I have been getting regular nose bleeds ever since which are getting worse as I tend to get about 3 to 4 everyday and even get woken up in the middle of the night with ones that are taking longer to stop! Bad, coz I am usually groaning from pelvic/groin pain and really really needing to pee at the same time as trying to find the tissues in the dark to shove one up my nostril. Ob keeps telling me it’s a normal pregnancy thing so, I’m just going with it....anyone else experience this or heard of other people with the same thing?? It’s pretty annoying and if any happens to slip down my throat, it make’s me feel a little sick. Bleh! At least the sight of blood doesn’t bother me! ha ha. Bub gets hicupps like at least once per day....anyone read or heard of what that means? Totally normal or...?? Ummm....oh yeah, my baby-shower was awesome and I had a really great day with all of my favourite ladies. Me and mainly bub got totally spoilt and I got tones of all the exact stuff I hadn’t bought yet. TONES of clothes, in all different sizes which is great. Tones of wraps in all different thicknesses...perfect! And lots of all the smaller practical stuff like, boxes of newborn nappies, wipes, organic creams and soaps, even nappy-bags and disposable change mats. Yeah yeah, not very ‘green’ I know but, I figure I’ll try and survive learning things with first bub and try to be a little more greener with the next if I get so lucky to have a next! Other than that... bag is packed, did a major cooking sesh today so, plenty of healthy meals are in the freezer, everything I can think of is bought, washed and ready to go, have learnt as much as possible about labour and birth and hubby is all clued up after his Beer-‘N’Bubs night-as well as our 5 ante-natal classes we have finished. So I think.....THINK I’m all ready to go....come onnnnn baby! Oh yeah, bub is dropping more and more and is in the correct position as per my last Ob appt. My Ob has said she’s gonna be a big one....8 &1/2 to 9 pounder but, they all say that don’t they?? I’m choosing not to think too much about that and am going to just give it my best shot. I hired a Mama-Tens machine so I’ll have to let you ladies know how it goes. I though it might be good for the “still at home” stage of early labor.....xoxo

Hi ladydee. Wow getting close now! How exciting!!
I got a recommendation from my current specialist for someone up there but I'm still not comfortable with the change. Thinking of sticking with the current dr and staying with my mum for last couple of weeks. She's just built a massive house on the same block as I grew up (after a knock down) so it might be nice to be back there. Still undecided though :-/

Ladydee - No boy parts I could see! Everything just looked blurry to me, we were a bit disappointed because the pictures we got weren't as good as the last ones, the guy doing the scan seemed in more of a hurry. Wow, I wish I was as close as you! I haven't got any obvious stretch marks yet, I think some might be starting on the underside of my boobs but it's hard for me to inspect that area properly, and even if they are there, not many people get to see that area of my anatomy . Hope your little girl gets a move on for you!

Hi ladies! Well NT scan Friday arvo all went well!! *phew* so happy and relieved! I'm on my phone so can't share an image.

NT scan measurement was around 1.6mm, all bits n pieces in the right place and overall risk rating was very low, even lower than the average, and lower than what we could have hoped for

So I'm now in the 13th week and am busting to start telling people! Want to tell parents first though.

Hi ladies, I'm currently on the thread for ttc no 1 with PCOS, but I thought I'd hop over to this thread as I have a question... Does anyone have a bicornate uterus? Cos apparently I have one and I was just wondering how it will affect things if/ when I finally get pregnant. Many thanks and congrats for graduating

Miggins - yay!! Congrats! So wonderful to get that NT scan out of the way, huh?

Kellymac - looks good! Hope everything is going well for you.

Hoping - have a great trip.

Littledove - sorry. Can't help you. Wishing you lots of babydust.

Ladydee -!!!! I'm so excited for you Ms Monkey toes!!! Are you nervous? Excited? Over it? I'm so happy your little one is so close. Do you know this time a year ago we were commiserating on failed Clomid cycles!? Please, please just pop in for two seconds to let us know that you've had her and her name I don't know what your birth plans are, but I can attest that worse comes to worse - the epidural really does make *all* the pain go away. Sending you lots of hugs (haha - not that I could get my arms around you!).

DD has been feeling a bit off for the last few days But, in general just gets cuter and cuter, has the most gorgeous smiles... And is waking up now, gotta run
