Andi – It is nice to hear from you. I thought you might be having a much needed break. Sounds like you have a great GP. It is amazing that the IVF clinics don’t do the blood tests isn’t it. Hey, maybe your GP will find something that is treatable. Your FS will be there when you are ready to see them hon, there is no hurry if you are having a break from things.

Riversong – what an amazing fertilisation rate!!!!! I hope your emotions settle down. It is such a hard journey and then we have all the hormones to go with it Your not alone, I spontaneously burst into tears too

Lillybaby – Yep, they called (after I left a message and 1pm to remind them) and confirmed to keep going And for a fabulous cycle for the both of us How did your scan go today? Hopefully all that bloating your feelings is from lots of follies.

Oh and you definitely should go the facial AND pedicure and I really think you should throw in a manicure and massage with it as well.

Liv – I really do think the DHEA has made the difference in my follie counts. At all my other baseline scans I didn’t have anything there to look at but this time even I could see them. I freaked out at first, I thought I had lots of cysts, I wasn’t expected her to laugh and tell my they were antral follicles..... my body doesn’t know what they are

One more month of suppression. You are doing very well.... and I hope DH is doing OK too Has he set up the shed as a “man land” for the three months????? I wish you your one (at least) perfect embie for transfer. What happens with the embryos that have the translocation? Do they fertilise and stop at a certain point? It really makes your numbers game so much harder But you did get your perfect match with Cooper, and it will happen again

I would love a catch up Liv, I always walk away feeling more confident. I’m pretty busy at the moment so I’ll see if I can fit in with others that are keen for a catch up. And the roll call is a great idea, with everyone doing something at the moment I’m getting very confused. Oh, and I’m excited that I’m not actually in limbo land

AFM – Had one of ‘those announcements’ this morning. My best friend in the whole world and it still sent me into a crying heap. I’m happy for her and I think what upset me this time is that even if I do get pregnant, I’ll never be able to relate to “fertiles” not even the ones closest to me. I guess I’m feeling very isolated from everyone.

Anyway, day 4 (officially day3...oops). The nurse went through everything and said your prednisalone will start on Wednesday. Ha, what????? First time I heard of it. Anyway I’m happy because it was something I thought I should be on given my high macrophages. I had already ‘aquired’ some and the only thing stopping me from taking it was DH wanting me to stay strictly to what KT wanted. Hehehehe, looks like I was right all along. Small thing but it has made me a lot more confident. And I’m liking KT’s style, still thinking about things even after the appointment.

    Hi everyone

Liv - great idea on the roll call. It well help us keep track now that so many of us are cycling. I hope you dont mind but I added in a heading for ET/FET. I'd love a catch up. Any Saturday suits me but prob not this week cos I'll prob still be recovering from EPU which will be on Friday, sedations always affect me really badly and I take a day or two to stop feeling dizzy. I love your positive attitude - I agree that we are ALL going to be pregnant or had our bubs by this time next year, I've just got such a good feeling at the moment.

Riversong - , I hope you are feeling better now. We all have days like that. It is just such a long journey sometimes.

Jaye - , those announcements are always so hard no matter how close we are to the people involved. I agree that it is just so hard to relate to "fertiles", that's why I love BH so much, cos the people here know exactly what we are going through.
I'm glad KT has put you on pred as well. I find he is definetly one to cover all the bases which is 1 reason I think he's great. We can be crazy on it together - it sends me a bit loopy. I started mine last week.
I think I'll take your advice and book a package at jurlique next week.

afm, I had my scan today and will be having EPU on Friday. They found 3 large follies on the right and 1 large and 1 small on the left. I'm not too worried though cos they never find everything on the left and the nurse admitted that she was struggling there to see properly. I actually feel incredibly confident about this cycle (I hope it doesnt come back to bite me - but as I said earlier to Liv we have to be positive). A year ago I would have been devastated with 4 follies but I think with the DHEA, CoQ10, healthy eating, exercise & weight loss over the last few months that these 4 or (maybe extras) will be great quality - so I'm going for quality not quantity this time.
