As long as I can buy new food that'll change very little to my spending habits. Lol

OK, I am going to try. Figured I will use my maternity bras from last time. They are worn and sag. Fearless.. if you see me any time this month, please refrain from pointing out that you can tell I am wearing really old unsupportive bras. haha. I don't think I need to buy anything else for the month of October. I should really try not to eat out at a cafe and use less petrol/drive less. Those are the two things our money gets wasted on here. I will do baby steps. No new products for october.

    How did everyone go today?

I have already stumbled across a problem! I've just started sewing (have nearly finished DS's first pair of pants ) but I've discovered that I only have really, really thin elastic and i need much thicker to make the waist band. Where on earth can i get second hand elastic???

Fl, could you do a swap type thing, even here or with people you know?

I might have some somewhere, which I will never use as I lost steam with sewing.

what type of elastic, how thick, how long etc?

I'm in too. I have been really off consumerism lately. I have been baking my own bread and making things from scratch as much as possible. This is going to be fun.

I find myself looking at things online, and found myself reaching for my credit card without even thinking.

But I managed to put it away. One day down....

This is so hard for me. I was going to start christmas shopping but I think I'll just make a list.
