Default Stretch and Sweep: What effect did it have for you?

    Hi Ladies,

I'm wondering what impact having a stretch and sweep had for you, when did u go into labour, how far into ur pregnancy did u have it done etc? This isn't a should I/shouldn't i post etc... Purely requesting personally experiences... My ob has offered to do one at my next appt (I'll be 39+5) but wondering if it will actually help (my previous experience was it being done while i was already in labour so i can't comment whether or not it helped)

    Cheers,

Had one at 41 weeks because if I didn't labour in the next week I was being induced and couldn't use the midwife program. It did nothing for me unfortunately.

Had one the day before due date with #1 and it did nothing.

Had one the day before my due date with #2 and started pre-labour the night of having my S&S and was in hospital giving birth the following day.
