HI, it has been awhile since i have been on here but i need help.
My DS who is now 22 months still isn't walking. We had a physio r/v yesterday and she said he is at the 12 month development stage. So i have been ringing everyone today for appointments, but can't see a paediatrician until janurary, speechy until march and OT until some time next year. what can i do to help my DS until we get the r/v's needed?
I think my son has a form of autism and maybe even developmental delay.
So i ask of you lovely people who are going through it, how can i help him?

Sorry to hear that. I am not sure where you live and whether you are seeking help from the private or public system?? But I just wouldn't take no for an answer. Is your gp involved? They can always ring up medical specialists and get you in. There are always appointments available.
Can you afford private for speech and ot? You can get sme rebate from Medicare.
Sorry I am not really much help, but would hate to think you and your son and family at not getting all of the medical and allied health support you need ASAP.
