Default how long after bubs head partially engaged did you go into labour???

    Hi ladies,
I am 36+5, and was told yesterday at appt that bubs head was partially engaged.
Last night I experienced lower back pain, and tightening in my stomach. This lasted for only about 30mins or so. Nothing felt today so far but I was just wondering.....

How long til labour?? Are these signs that labour is days away?

This is my second bubs, with my first I never experinced any of this as my waters broke at 36+6 weeks, and I was then induced with no contractions.

So what have been your experiences????

    TIA

I was fully engaged at 34 weeks with DS2 and gave birth at 39+4weeks, mild contractions that morning, but not painful, just like a tightning feeling and then the full on contractions started, went straight to hospital, and they were just going to put me on a monitor but she felt bubs position and asked if i felt the need to puch, i said yes and they put me straight into a room. waters broke the push before i gave birth to him. The whole labour was only 45minutes, but was very intense. The whole time i was in so much shock though, even when I pushed him out i kept thinking, this can't be it, no way, this is to quick! goodluck!

dds was deeply engaged at 36 weeks, something like 1/5 out 4/5ths in, pre labour started at 37 weeks and I had her at 39+4. The only difference for me was it was very very uncomfortable those last weeks she was engaged
