Default I little hope for all of the IVF ladies trying to fall pregnant.

From the begining..... 4 1/2 years ago I started to try to get pregnant. I thought it would be hard dure to the fact that I had Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. I tryed for 6 months un assisted, them took clomid for 12 months starting on low levels and increasing to very high levels in that period. When taking clomid I was not getting any reading with urine ovulation kits until I was on the highest levels.

I then booked to see a IVF specialist. She booked me in for a lapaoscapy where they found that my tubes where very scared, when they did the dye test no dye would go through. So the last year and half was a waste of time, which did not help me cause my age was against me as I was 35.

I did four full stimulated IVF cycles at monash IVF Gold Coast with no sucess, my Doctor changed clinics so I moved with her as she is a fantasic doctor. With my first 4 cycles I was lucky if I got 2 5day embros to transfer and none to freeze. We were always trying to grow them to a blastocyst which was not the right move for my embryos. I started to see a Acupuncturist that specialises is fertility. It really helped the number of eggs at pickup increased from 7 to 16 and they were better qualitity. From cycle 5 - 7 I was able to freeze some embryos. I also changed to the colardo Regime cycle as well for cycle 6 and 7. Cycle 7 I fell pregnant.... but then misscarraged at 7.5 weeks. I then did 2 frozen cycles next to no success. I then decided to try another fully stimulated cycle but my body would not let me. I would cry after each negative result but I never throught once that my body would not let me do it. Each month for the next 5 months I went to get a blod test and my body kept say no.

When my body came around I two frozen cycles to no success. Then did another FS cycle I fall pregnant on cycle number 8 (sorry I only count the FS cycles not the frozen ones). I am now 38 years old and 28 weeks pregnant.

I have written this today to give hope to all of you lovey stronge women out there. Don't give up. Don't just do blastocyst's. Don't just do the normal IVF try the Colorado Regime. Don't let the negative result keep you down for to long.

    Thinking of you all xx

    Thankyou ladies

Colorado Regime - I can only remember some of the key components.

Your specialist prescribes you and your partner antibotics these help to stop your body from rejecting the embryos, Baby asprin which helps with thinning your blood and help with implantation (I took asprin until I was 14 weeks pregnant). Sorry your specialist should be able to print off the instructions for the regime. And remember do not feel like you can not request or change your IVF cycles.

I also went to the Fertility Acupunturist and chiropractor, I was reading that chiropractors can help with pregnancy due to the fact that they keep everything alined. I feel pregnant 6 weeks after starting chiropractic work and still go once a forthnight.

I looked at it from this point, It was costing approx $8500.00 each fully stimulated cycle that I was better off doing as much as possible to help.

Eat healthy, look after yourselves BUT don't let IVF rule your life, it will make you stressed which will prolong you getting pregnant, beleive me I know. Embrace people around you that are falling pregnant it is a hard thing to do BUT if you close your self off it makes it worse, beleive me I know.

My thoughts are with you all.
