Default Why does it have to be so hard?

This parenting thing is freaking hard work!!!

If I knew it would be like this I wouldn't have signed up for it.

J constantly talks & I mean constantly. He doesn't shut up for 5 seconds. Cause of his constant talking I've managed to kill the bumper on the car, smash the fish tank & that's just today. God only knows how many other things have died cause of his constant talking.

Why do they not listen? I mean they don't listen at all. Example - yesterday at the pet shop. Ask J to stand still, he decides he doesn't want to so takes off. Not just down the foot path but into traffic. Wasn't the first time either. I know he doesn't understand but truly. T follows him & almost gets hit by a car. They think it's funny & laugh. By now I'm seeing red.

If anyone feels the need to roll their eyes at, walk a mile in my shoes before you do. I am one person with 3 toddlers & no help.

I have that never stops talking and making sound effects, even in his sleep. It drives you bonkers.

I hope your day gets better.
Is blessed to have 6 wonderful kids.

No words of advice, I can't even imagine what it would be like with the three of them.

I hope they don't get into too much more mischief for you today.
    Oh, oh, onion skin
    You might see the trap
    But you still fall in
    When things start to roll
    Your skin flies off
    And the teardrops flow

I don't know how you do it TT! My DS is the same age as your 3, and is the same, talks and talks and talks, but most of the time it is just words, not anything that makes sense. And gets into everything, all the time. There is no way I would cope with 3 of him.
I now have a 2yo and a newborn, and honestly, the newborn is so much less trouble than than the 2yo.

Hugs TT! I don't have 3toddlers but 2 is bad enough, I can only imagine a 3rd one in the mix. I have chatterboxes and non listeners too!

Do you have a harness for them? I'd be using on if they are taking off into traffic.
The talking thing- oh man, I hear ya- I have four that do. not. shut. up. EVER. It's fine for a bit but after a while...yeah well...you know.

Yea, I have they're puppies. He had it on, told him to stand still while I put A in the car. Normally he would, yesterday he took off.

Weeellll....not really. My DD is 3.5 and she never, ever, ever stops talking. If she's not talking, she's making some kind of noise. My experience is that you've got a few more years of it yet. Sorry.
