Thanks for all your kind words. Unfortunately no update yet am going for 2nd blood test tomorrow. I spoke with the dr and it seems Dorevich did not put any other explanations or HcG findings on there fax so the Dr is asking me to go through Melbourne pathology to get a HcG number which should have been done on the first place. I did another home test and still a negative so really waiting for it to be officially confirmed . It's all been a mix if emotions through the whole journey and know I can pick myself up again but so wanted to have success against the odds this time. Given I haven't been given the official no I am in the emotional preparation stage as I know in my head but my heart still wants to keep believing for one more night.

Pixel - thinking of you. The wait must be agonizing...

Im pleased to say that today I've officially graduated from the "Cycling" team to the "2WW" team having had 2 "perfect, fully expanded day 5 blastocysts" transferred and another 13 looking likely for the freeze tomorrow.

We can't believe it. We started with 20 eggs, 15 in fact fertilized and all progressed to great quality day 5 blastocysts. Couldn't be happier, now let's hope our luck stays with us.

Had acupuncture pre and post transfer with the lovely Sarah Hewland. Was excellent.

I can't tell you how impressed we have been with the whole CFC treatment. Exceptional I'd say, and I would put hesitate to recommend anyone to Dr Heylen and CFC.

Good luck to everyone else about to board this journey...

Pixel, I am thinking of you today xx
Congrats on being PUPO with twins two whites!
I got my info pack from CFC yesterday which was really good , have been working through the costs which seem daunting at first, but if I look at it like an IVF cycle and also a holiday it's not so bad.! I just have to pitch it to DH like that!
Is everyone happy with their donor agency they used? could I ask for a bit of a roll call as to who used which agency and if you were happy? some of them I don't seem to have heard of before...

One other question ... what happens if your donor has a poor response? is there any recourse at all through CFC or the donor agency? And if you have to go back for a second cycle or Fet is the fee reduced?

    Em

Emski- I just paid Nurture and it was 2750 US dollars, I have no idea why they charge it in US dollars but that's what it is. I think it worked out to 2771 AUS Dollars with the transfer fee as well.

Congratulations Twowhites, if only we could all have donors like yours.
I feel for you Pixel. Been down that road too many times.

A question about the medications, how many people have or are going to use the prednisone/baby aspirin/clexane? My aussie FS said he would use it if he were treating me however the SA Dr doesn't seem to think I need it? Should I go with what the SA Dr wants or insist I use it? I remember earlier on in this thread someone mentioned the SA Drs don't believe in natural killer cells. I am going to get an intralipid infusion while I'm over there.

    Hi Ladies,

    Pixel - thinking of you.

Twowhites - that's wonderful news, take it easy, relax and enjoy.

January, Crystal and Emski72 - glad to hear your planning is going well.

BB4Me - I was on the prednisolone and aspirin for my IVF cycles, my clinic would
give these meds to everyone as a precaution. I have had tests for some of the immunes and they seemed fine but I'm going to still go with the protocal from my clinic and take these as well. I was on a dose of 10mg a day of prednisolone and 1 aspirin a day. I don't think it would do any harm?
Maybe some of the other ladies could add in their thoughts.

Hope everyone is having a great day.

    Cartia x
