Sunny - you are amazing for putting the stats together. It is so heartwarming to read and I am sure a great motivator for those of you 'Mummas in waiting'.

I am sorry I have been absent, I have had loads going on of late and clearly only about to get busier.

I had my 32 week Ob appt today. Bub is still transverse. Ob said if bub doesn't move in next two weeks I will be required to have a CS via Classical incision (verticle) at 37+ weeks. He noted at that age bub will most likely have to spend time in the Special Care Nursery. So I have been a bit teary tonight. Just want the little Springbok to get here safe and sound.

Hi Ladies - wow there are so many on this thread now! Congratulations to all the recent BFP's and all the very best of luck to those heading over shortly!
And also huge congrats to WJ on the safe arrival of your twin boys!!

Just wanted to post a quick update. Unfortunately i have bern going into pre-term labour since 27 weeks and although the dr's have managed to supress it with drugs (i have been in hosp for the past 2 weeks, my cervix is now completely effaced and they say that my two little ones will definitely be arriving within the week (or 10 days if i am REALLY lucky!).
I am only 29 weeks now so that means our twins will probably need to spend 2-3 months in the neo-natal unit - a long and emotional journey ahead for us i think.

Anyway - just wanted to pop in and touch base - Ianed - your bubba will be just fine at 37 weeks, especially if it is a good birth weight (ours sre both only 2nd percentile which will be a birth weight of only 1100g).

    Hi ladies

JED - all the best - good friend of mine in NZ had twins at 26 weeks due to twin to twin syndrome and they are perfect. All the best.

It is great to see the stats. We are currently in limbo and currently awaiting the outcome of the last cycle we did with our current FS.

I really hope everyone else is well.

Jed - Will be thinking of you. The stay in the neo natal unit will probably be emotionally tough. I read a few months back that babies born afer 28 weeks usually do very well. Don't forget the amazing Theresa from this thread who had baby Stella at around 23 weeks!

Laned - to you also. At 37 weeks your baby is technically full-term, so that sprinkbok is baked! They will most likely want to see if bubba's lungs are all good and that the he/she doesn't have jaundice. But your little sprngbok may still turn in the next two weeks!

Hi Ladies, I just added me onto the stats JED- Thinking of you. There are not a lot of words that can help to soothe you, but if there were we would all be sending them your way. We have a friend who was bed bound for 12 weeks in hospital. Her little man was trying to come too early. He is just beautiful now and crawling around. My friend was so strong. I wish you every bit of strength for this period.
