    Hey Girls

Sorry I have been quiet. Lots going on.

Summershine - awesome results. I am so very pleased for you Those little embed will snuggle in. When is your BT?

Wilson - thanks for the advice. I am having my t/f in Joburg so will contact a few clinics there.

Jed - wow the 8th will be here before you know it. We will be like passing ships. We arrive back on the 6th. We are catching up with a South African friend on Saturday, with the plan to get a list of places to go. I will post her recommendations.

AFM - not long to go and just sorting out last minute items. Not sure if it is CD1 for me today. I was expecting a period with gusto, but it only started at 10 and has been quite light. Nonetheless the clinic have said to count it as day 1. That said I am having bloods and seeing my specialist tomorrow for a scan. So will know whether to start Proganova tomorrow. Hope all is well for everyone else. X

Landed - Not long to go now, are you getting excited?

Jed02 - We hired a car so didn't do any tours as such. Although I did shark diving the second day I was there it was awesome. We drove to the Cape of Good Hope and Stellenbosch. Just near Stellenbosch is an amazing winery called Delaires the view is stunning, it was the most beautiful place I have ever eaten. There are lots of bus tours and things to do though so you won't be bored.

Sally and WJ thank you for your feedback.

AFM - Blood test confirmed a BFP, I will have a second blood test next week to see if the levels are rising so I am cautiously hopeful. If nothing else I finally saw those two lines on a pregnancy test. for a sticky or stickies.

To all the other ladies hope you are going well.

    Woohoo Summershine.

Jed there is a hop on hop off bus. Whilst we didnt do the tour they are always a good starting point. Robben Island was interesting, Table mountain is another thing to do, there is whale watching depending on the time of year too. We hired a car so we drove to places of interest as I have already mentioned.

Can u believe I was there this time last year! Time flys. I wish I was going over again, it's such a wonderful country.

    ((HUGS)) to all

    Hi Ladies,

Sorry I have been MIA for the last couple of weeks. To be honest all the immune issues just got me feeling really down and I've been suffering full on PMT and extremely hormonal at ovulation time too (which is day 6 as my natural cycles are only 20 days now!!). Anyway thank god that's all over and I'm feeling more like myself again.

Laned - I hope you had a lovely time at your Egg Safari Party! Wishing you every success over in beautiful Cape Town and can't wait to hear your updates.

Sahndi - Congratulations on your BFP!! All the best for your 7 week scan and please keep us posted.

Wilson - How did your first Ob appointment go? Have you moved to the other area in your job? Hope all is progressing well.

Jed - So exciting that you are going over very soon. I bet you are counting down the days! Table Mountain is breathtaking, definately take the cable car up to the top to enjoy the view. The hop on hop off bus is worth a go too so your are able to explore all of Cape Town! Take a drive down the Atlantic Seaboard the beaches are so beautiful and it's a lovely drive.

Jodie - How are you going? Isn't motherhood just the best!!! What's your update with IVF for no2? I remember you saying you would be trying again with your own eggs. Wishing you well.

Summershine - Congratulations on your BFP!! So wonderful that you have 4 frozen embies for future siblings!! All the best for your 2nd blood test, it's so anxious waiting, isn't it!!!

AFM: My hysteroscopy and endrometrial biopsy procudure is taking place in 2 days so finally we are moving forward with things and hopefully this will give a clearer picture on which drug protocol I'll be going on. I think the results take a week so will keep you all posted.

    Hi Ladies

Thanks to everyone for all your useful tips on things to do and see whilst in Cape Town. My husband will only be there for 4 days with me so will try to do what we can in those 4 days and then after that I think I will be a bit too much of a chicken to stray too far from my hotel (although I am hoping that we will be within walking distance to a shopping centre!)

Ianed - not long to go now - wow, how exciting! Shame we only just miss each other! Make sure you keep us posted on how you go over there - will be sending you lots of .!

Helen - sorry to hear that you've been feeling crappy these past couple of weeks - which is totally understandable considering! Glad that you have bounced back though - I hope your hystercopy and biopsy all went smoothly?

Summershine - YAY Big congrats on your BFP! Hope your hcg numbers are climbing beautifully!

AFM - not much to report - just waiting for my day 1 so I can start my drugs (10 days or so).

    to everyone else!

    Hi Ladies,

I had my hysteroscopy and endrometrial biopsy yesterday and all went well. I will have the results back in 2-3 weeks!!! More waiting time. On anti-biotics now for a week so at least that's all over and I'm moving closer to getting more answers. Can't wait to find out what the treatment plan will be and then I can book my FET in with Karin at CFC!

Hope you are all going well

Helen - I take my hat off to you, you are one strong lady. With everything you have been through and all the hormonal changes I think you are doing amazingly. I hope the results from your tests give you some answers the waiting really sucks but it won't be long before you get your treatment plan and we will all be cheering you on.

Jed - I would be too chicken to stray from the hotel too if my husband wasn't there. Where I stayed there were restaurants downstairs and a supermarket around the corner. You will be fine and see this as a well deserved holiday, with a few scans here and there.

Laned - How are you going? Are you on the progynova? Not long now.

WJ - How are things going with you?

Thank you everyone for your well wishes. My second blood test came back good and they said everything is progressing well. I know it is early days but I am quite happy.

JodiW I would like to thank you for starting this thread and wanted to let you know that you actually changed my life. I had no idea what I was going to do or what my next move would or could be. I was almost at the end of the road and then I found your South Africa thread and I had hope again. I never thought this would be possible, I never thought I would see two lines on a stick. So thank you for sharing your knowledge and helping others. I hope I can do the same oneday too.

    xx
