Default Mater Experiences and OB suggestions needed

    Hi There,

I am thinking of baby number two and today got a rave review for The Mater but so far people have only mentioned RNS and The SAN so I'm wanting to hear about people's Mater experiences.

Can partner's stay and what are the arrangements?

Also, any good OBs working out of The Mater or elsewhere?

    Thanks!

Hi, my girlfriends had their bubs at the Mater and loved it. Partners can't stay though (there are partner rooms at NSP but not guaranteed). I booked at the Mater today.

My ob is WONDERFUL, Dr Keith Hartman, I love him. I have heard good things about Adrian Kwok as well.

Is this mater in bris or syd? in Bris the mater (private) allows your partner to stay with you. the birthing suites are great and the midwives fantastic. highly recommend.

Hi I just found out I'm pregnant and so I'm also looking for an OB at the Mater (sydney) private hospital - can anyone provide any recommendations?
    Many thanks
    Marie
