    What do you think?

Had my scan today and FS said lining was excellent so we are all systems go. Only delemma was that she would not be there Sunday to do the transfer and that whoever was rostered on would do it, or she said she could do it Monday and they would just keep embie in dish for extra day to monitor and transfer a day 3 embie instead. She said that if it didn't make it to day 3 in the dish then it would be unlikely to make it in the womb. We could not decide definitively one way or the other and as it is only the one embie that we have, it made it even harder to decide. Anyway, we chose to go with a day 3 transfer which will be 12.30pm on Monday. Part of me believes it would have been better going straight in as a day 2, and that would have been my preference, but the FS on on Sunday specialises in male infertility and he is realtively new and I cannot find any feedback on him, so was rather nervous going with him. I also thought that the thaw process, if successful may/ or may not cause the embie to deteriorate in quality, so perhaps the extra day to monitor it wouldn't be such a bad thing.... and obviously I will be far more comfortable with my FS doing the transfer. I am not feeling terribly confident either way, but I guess I now just have to wait and hope our lonely little embie is a figher. Any thoughts from anyone?

A little. I'm pretty sure the cultures used for day 3 are the same as day 2. So if your embie is going to survived it will be fine on day 3. I think you've made a good decision and im sure all will be fine.

    Goodluck honey xx

Nessie I wish I could but I can't seem to upload from my iPhone or Mac. I might need to send one to backflip and have her upload it. She's a bit of a whizz

Alittle - sounds like you've gone with your gut instinct and that's what I would have done, you have trust in your FS so you've made the right call.

BK - yes a belly pic please

AFU - I need to get wasted, have had the toughest day, not with Evie, I'm minding a friend's daughter & she is really hard work! All I can say is no wonder her mum needs a break from her - that probably sounds a horrible thing to say but I don't mean it that way, it's just very exhausting. I am so lucky with Evie.

Have a good weekend everyone, I'm sure I'm going to be rather frazzled by the time it's over.

    Hi All,

It's been ages since I have posted but things have been so hectic. My Mom has been here for the week and it's been great but busy. My little miracle bub is one today and you would think it was my birthday I am so excited. We are having a little party for her this afternoon.

Sonja thanks for the tips on weaning her, I have dropped the lunch feed and am now just feeding morning and night and will do this for a little longer.

    Moon great belly pic.

JFB fantastic news on the scan.

Alittle good luck with the transfer on Monday you have made the right decision.

Kel I agree we need a belly pic .

Kismet, it must be so hard to look after 2 littlies especially when 1 is being feral. On the food front I got a tip from one of the mother's in mother's group to get Sultana buds and just let them eat them as a snack without milk, it is good for them and I must say Jaye loves them.

I hope you all have a great day
