Nattie, just wanted to give you some good news and some hope to keep you positive. I got my IVF BFP 2 days ago :-)

So your embryo transfer will be today? Let me re-assure you that an embryo transfer is a very exciting process because you get to see your embryo on the screen and the procedure is similar to a pap test, no pain at all.

I will check back in about 10 days to see if you've POAS yet :-)

Oh and so you know what to expect, look at my gorgeous little embryo that is now a Bubba growing in my tummy :-)

I have everything crossed for you for success first time round!

My transfers were always 2 days after the egg collection so you must be on a different treatment to me. Your embryos are growing to blastocysts then before being transferred? How exciting!

4 fertilising is GREAT result, it seriously is !!

My first egg collection we had 7 eggs and 3 fertilised. All 3 were unsuccessful (had 1 fresh and 2 from frozen). I put the failure of these embryos down to the fact that I had 24 follicles so was over stimulated, therefore the eggs were collected a bit too early.

The second collection on a different medication this time we had 9 eggs and 5 fertilised. First transfer was successful but unfortunately we lost bubba due to miscarriage at 6 weeks. I am pregnant now with the 2nd embryo from those 5 and we still have 3 frozen. Hopefully they are for our next baby/babies because I have every hope that this pregnancy will be just fine, it has to be after everything we've been through!

My IVF blood test is next Friday but like I could wait for that, I POAS instead lol (double check with your nurse that you're not on any medication that could give a false positive first before testing!!)

It's all very exciting isn't it! Yeah ivf Australia does 5 days so they can eliminate the ones that dont form properly

I am sure u will be just fine! We are also hoping from some frosties as I don't know if I could go through all of this again! I was so uncomfortable in the days leading up to my trigger!

I am just using the progesterone cream so I will be able to test early although DH has hidden my home tests again lol

Nattie - I was very uncomfortable leading up to my egg collection the second time (which has resulted in a 100% pregnancy rate) so take this as nice mature eggs!! My first egg collection resulted in 0% success but I wasn't that uncomfortable.....so I see this as a good sign for you!

TLM - Thanks gorgeous! It's nice to know I can come back and talk to the charting gang after so long and we all still remember each other :-)
