Sazra, yeah i have my mum for support i don't know if that counts as a lot of support but she's pretty much it. Other than that i'm on my own.

I'm doing ok at the moment but my youngest turns 5 in January and he's getting much more independant. So the age gap is good i think in terms of me doing it on my own.

Good luck with TTC Sending loads of baby dust your way

    Yay! Congratulations Ky

Nothing new to report here. I'm trying not to symptom spot as it'll drive me crazy! I'm ridiculously tired, but that'll be down to working nightshift. CD21 and 8DPO. Still planning on testing on the 6th if AF stays away.

    Congratulations FunKy!

I've not visited this thread for a long time now, but just wanted to pop my head in. I finally got my BFP!! I'm now 5w5d (or 3w5d depending how you look at it???). I will have my first scan on 7th October with the FS - then I really need to find an OB!! So exciting this is the very first BFP of my lifetime!! It's still early so I'm cautious as well, as it could all end so easily - but just trying to 'think' pregnant thoughts right now

well i had my docs appointment today... my blood work showed i hadnt O's by day 20, which leads my doctor to believe i either dont O, or i O late in my cycle...

Shes referred me to a specialist and booked me in for an appointment for a pelvic scan next Friday to see if theres any sign of eggs ect...
I guess i have mixed emotions atm... part of me feels down because my body doesn't work, and the other part of me feels pleased to have some kind of answer we can try and work on..
Im also disappointed that the specialist appointment wont happen right away and theres about a 3-4 week waiting list to get in to see him.. and that's just for the first appointment!!

momma2bee - im sorry thatyou didnt O. The good thing about specialists is that they can help. Its just unfortunate about the waiting time. I know how you feel. We had to wait 2 months to see our FS and had to wait another month and a half to see her again after all our tests. But the way i see it is we arent alone. There are obviously as many people needing help that there are pregnant women out there!
Congrats miggins on the great news.
Good luck zanzibar. Hope you get a positive

I am going in to start my next round of ovulation blood tests this friday. Have had one before and the nurses rang me in the morning to let me know that that day and the next was best. What im wondering is should my husband be "saving" up his stuff and if he does, does it make a difference?

thanks Emma, i know im not alone - where i live, theres a possiblitity the IVF will shut down if the private hospotal takes over the lease... its a long story so im just hoping we dont need to go down that way or we will have to travel..

to answer your question, and i know im not 100% sure on this... but.. im pretty sure ive read that its not "good" if hubby/partner goes too long with out dtd because his sperm can be "old" and that dtd every second day is better off as it gives it enough time to "restore" LOL ..i hope that makes sense... you cant believe every thing you read on google though, maybe give them a call and ask??
    for you!!
