Mammalinz unfortunately my first pregnancy ended in a mc due to the embryo having an extra chromosome 13. Probably an egg issue. I found out at the 9 week scan when there was no heart beat. But please don't freak out about these things. At the time Lynn said it was just one of those freak abnormalities that can happen and it was something like 1 in 100 and that it didn't mean it would happen again to me. Because my first pregnancy ended up like that I have been paranoid this time around. I think you can rest easy knowing this egg and subsequent pregnancy you are carrying came from a good batch which gave you a healthy daughter. I had a really hard time getting good eggs after that. But persistence paid off. How old were you when you stimmed for your daughter?
thats a good sign that it was Lynn who put back both your embryos. If you ask the nurses they all say they would choose her to do transfers as she has a good success rate.
Regarding foods I'm careful not to eat old foods, undercooked foods, and then everything on the government list. I had a burger the other night which was well cooked but I had to pick out some minuscule bits which looked pinkish. I'm so scared I'm going to do something to jeapordise the bubs.
I feel good at the moment, though felt disgusting up until week 14.
By the way you can now do a blood test to check for DS rather than the nuchal scan, blood test and amnio. It's called Harmony, I'm sure nick will talk to you about this.
will Friday be your first blood test?

    Team Panda -
Oh I am so sorry to hear about your first pregnancy - what a heartache. I can understand it would make you paranoid about further pregnancies. Good thing your paranoia was unfounded :-). I always had trouble getting eggs - I think this is the only batch I ever got.. so this is it for us - whatever happens. I was 41 with this batch and had my daughter at 42. I am now 44 :-( - I feel stupidly old.
I know it is stupid = but yes ... I think Lynn being involved both times is a good sign ;-). Well I am pregnant .. so she has done the job it is more can I stay pregnant.
Oh i love eating old food - okay best to be safe.. thanks for the reminder! I am with you I don't want to do anything to jeapordise the bub.
Good to hear you feel good- the 2nd trimester is best.
Harmony .. must remember this if we get that far

Yep Friday is first blood test - MY GOD - I am not even at the beginning .. I am before the start. I wish I could move time forward ..

    Hello Ladies ...
thank you every one for your well wishes !! It is official we are pregnant! and my HCG was over 2,000 which is apparently excellent!! Very excited and yet still fearful of miscarriage .. wont feel safe till at least 12 weeks..

so a couple of people have been asking me why so long for the blood test .. so I rang up IVF and my specialist only to find the whole place had shut down and noone had bothered to tell me or inform us. Crazyness ... so last time I did IVF with Nick I had intralipid but now i cant have this procedure as Nick is away, there is no script and the whole of IVF have shut down.. dont you just love IVF
so after a completely MAD day yesterday - i convinced a random doctor for an intralipid script and oncology to administer the treatment this morning. ugh - welcome back to IVF !!

emski72 - oh are you currently cycling ..? thanks for the well wishes. hope to see you here soon !
Teampanda - thank you !! it all worked out .. (so far)
    Octoberbaby2010 - thank you ...
    chook11 - happy birthday again !

Here is to a GREAT 2013 for all of us
