Thanks for dropping by Redmumma. We have to organise a meet up. When do you plan to return to work? I've never thought I'll ever be lucky enough to come to this stage.

TFT---I think mine is still breech too, she tried to flip 2 nights ago, but didn't stay down. I have the same problem with fibroids I think though we haven't measured them for a while. Beside the numb hand, not able to fit into shoes, duck waddle, haemorrhoids have turned up too. Glenda is still talking about swapping my date, but to date it hasn't been done, so I'm still in on the same day. Anyhoo, our time in hospy will overlap so I can have a nosey look at your little guy.

wannabb---How's the twinnies? Have you found out the sex?

    Hi Frostysmum,

I return to work mid-July. Would be great to catch up. I'll leave it with you & TFT as to when you'd like to catch up as I think you'll both be crazy-busy for a wee while, especially you Frosty being FTM. Beautiful, but busy life...

    Rest up!

    Hi ladies
This is almost a Brissie thread wish I could catch up too.

Redmumma- how are you going with your little boy. He must be growing quickly now

Frosty and TFT - saw that you were both on the same day for Caesarian. Good luck for both of you. Guessing early this week so not long now til you hold bubs

Afm- having problems with low BP and fast heart beat up to 155. Started propanalol and slowed rate bit but kept feeling faint. Finally had to stop work on Friday as not safe. Wish I had sit down job but can't change anything now. Spoke to perinatal specialist Friday and told her babies will be here before this issue is sorted lol

wannabb---How many weeks are you now? Just as well have a rest until the twinnies arrive! Do you think it's the pregnancy causing the fast heart rate? Won't the propanolol lower the BP more?

Wannabb, that sounds like a really unpleasant situation! I hope your FS comes up with a good solution soon. How are the twinnies going?

AFM OMIGOD what a week! DH needed to have urgent surgery on his eye - in the middle of the night a few weeks ago he smashed into a chest of drawers we had moved to a different side of the house. Anyway, he had been seeing spots and I pestered him to go and see the opthamologist because he had previously had a cataract removed from that eye and I wanted to make sure everything was fine. Well, it wasn't, he had a detached retina which needed urgently to be repaired! So he was rushed into surgery on Thursday and has spent the last few days flat on his back. He will be okay to come to the birth but won't be able to drive for two weeks, and I won't be able to drive for three! Add to that DS has a chest infection, and the healthiest person in this house is me ... 38 weeks pregnant!!! So no relaxing for this very preggy lady, just go, go, go (or waddle, waddle, waddle?) getting DH to his appointments and DS at home and not a happy camper. SIGH. Bub is still breech and sitting right up under my ribs - very uncomfortable! Saw the obs last week for my last appointment and he is looking good, quite a big bopper apparently although she wouldn't give me an estimated birthweight because she said it was inaccurate at this stage. I'm a bit over being pregnant now, looking forward to meeting my little guy so much ...

Hi Frosty- When heart rate is 150 BP generally 80-85/60 so propanalol supposed to slow rate getting better filling of heart so better BP but does also drop BP. Trying to find right dose though is hard work. Have Echo and 24 hour cardiac monitor booked for 8 th to make sure nothing else wrong. They think it is due to twins as iron levels ok and thyroid mildly elevated only- was normal back in august. TFT - twins are growing great at 60-63% 2 weeks ago at 23 weeks. Moving aeound heaps. Ob is keen for VB if presenting twin is head down but last scan her foot was in cervix below his head. Bummer about DH how are you getting to from hospital and DH visiting? Timing sux sometimes.

I'm terribly pleased to announce the safe arrival of Aloise Hui-En by elective CS at 1049 am, weighing 3.2kg. Both mum and bub doing well.

TFT was the patient before me, I'll let her announce her new arrival herself.
