Prue40 - Big wave, how are you going?

Siennaray - 30th March !!! OMG that is just around the corner. Crazyness. I remember thinking something was going to be wrong with Annika, but no, she is a perfect bundle as will be your package. I mean having a CVS is pretty conclusive, right. Are you bags packed? Planned C - section?

Frosty - I meant have you settled on your hospital? It is good thinking to pick a tertiary hospital as well as having back up whooping cough vaccine. We cannot be too careful with our precious, precious bundles!

Hi mammalinz sorry to intrude but thought I'd let you know what yes Gardenia has had her beautiful little boy, Beau. I don't have a lot of details except she's well, at home and yes no doubt up to her eyes in nappies.

Hi Ladies -- just a quick post.

Lil'Wish -- so sorry to hear your news. Thinking of you and hoping you are doing ok !!

Mammalinz (and all the other kind ladies who have asked) -- I am doing ok -- amnio is scheduled for 19th March as they couldn't (or wouldn't) do it any earlier , then the OB appointment on the 20th which I will move to the 23rd so we can discuss the results. It's kind of put a damper on everything till then -- family get together on Sunday, but I doubt we'll mention it -- I don't really want to tell anyone we know until the test gives the all clear. It is easier to tell the girl waxing my bits than someone I know but I am starting to show so we won't be able to keep it a secret too much longer, and none of my pants fit !!

Hope everyone else is doing well -- will do more personals next time !!

DJSHEARS – are you pregnant?? I am a bit confused?

Prue40 - So glad to hear everything is okay with Gardenia. How is the exercising coming along. I have just started running again. It took 8 weeks to be able to exercise again. I am so unfit it is stupid!

Cjm1 – oh I have been thinking about you. You have been on my mind! How are you doing? The 19th isn’t too far away, now. It must seem like an eternity! How did you manage your family gathering, last weekend? I can understand you not wanting to tell anyone till you get the all clear. I remember I didn’t want to tell anyone till after the birth! Sometimes it is easier to talk to someone outside your personal world.

    Hi everybody!

Its been a bit quiet in here ... I guess we're all just growing away! I had another scan yesterday and it looks like our little feller has decided to stay put after all I'm 32 weeks so I know he would be okay if he came out, would just spend a month or so in NICU/Special Care, but I'm really holding out for what my DH calls a "Take Home Baby" (as opposed to a "Lay By Baby" - birth now, take home later - which is what he called DS1!) Obs says after 35-36 weeks most babies can come home with Mum, so now we need to convince this little feller to stay where he is for at least another 3 weeks. I'm really tired all the time so extra rest is not a problem! Had a big milestone in that the obs decided it was time to schedule my C-Section (before that it was looking so likely that I would have a premature labour she didn't bother) but 30 April is now my official date! After having a skinny abdomen at 22 weeks that caused a whole lot of stress, bubs abdomen is NOW measuring 4 days ahead! So who knows with this ultrasound bizzo. Everything seems to be growing on track, obs says he is right on track. It is such a relief to walk out of that consulting room with everything being on track. She still wants to see me weekly which is a bit of a hassle, but I'm not complaining if our precious little miracle stays inside to grow up a bit more. I hope everyone else here is tracking well too

Mammalinz, I seem to recall your precious daughter was an Caesar - were you able to keep her with you in recovery? I'm starting to turn my mind toward the birth now (yes, I know, moderately hysterical that it has taken me 32 weeks to decide I should think about actually giving birth to this baby! ) and would really appreciate any experience you want to share. With DS1 obviously he had to go straight to NICU so it wasn't an option, but I would like to map out now what my options are for keeping bub with me.

TFT---Mater has an absolute rooming in policy, including the elective CS, unless there's any valid reason to separate you and bub or by your request, bub will stay by your side at all times. I'm sure they'll talk about that a bit more at the class. I was @ Glenda's yesterday too around 11. There was a very long queue but Vera saw a few of the ladies who decided they didn't need to wait to see Glenda (thank goodness or else I'd be there waiting 2 hours).

AFM---Missy is growing on track 1.7kg yesterday, ob is very happy, bubby was doing the fish breathing under water thing yesterday when we were scanning. I'm still very constipated, ob has advised me to up the movicol. My hands are still the same but I've learned to live with them. Had my flu shot earlier this week too. Mum and dad are buying their plane tickets this weekend. Cot is made up, nursery not arranged yet, none of the clothes have been washed yet either. Still have carseat to fit. Another 2 weeks to work. The round ligament pains are getting to me now after a few hours of work, or any amount of quick walking or continuous walking. One of our trainees gave birth a few days ago, she's used my baby name!!! (she's not aware of what I've picked so she didn't steal it) I'll probably still stick with it as I've wanted this girl's name for 4 years.

CJ1 - Hey, I know tomorrow is your amnio. I wanted to wish you all the best and to know while this is difficult, it will provide answers. I guess the 19th has come around quickly. How are you feeling? Do you have support? Know we are all here for you
