Default Dream Baby Retractable Safety Gate

Hi I am looking for a safety gate for an opening 140cm wide and one of the few that seems to suit this size door is the Dream Baby Retractable Safety Gate. Just wondering if anyone has this gate. Does it work? How sturdy is it?

Or does anyone else have a reccomendation for a brand of gate to suit an opening that size.

i have this gate. i have it set up across the entrance to our kitchen, its a large opening (not sure exact measurements but it takes up almost the entire length of the retractable gate) and, being a kitchen i love that i can retract the gate at the touch of a button when DS is alseep or otherwise amused and its completely out of the way.
i find it very sturdy and good quality, though it does say not to use it at the top of stairs, i guess because its mesh a child might be able to push the bottom over the stair lip and slip under it.. but its not an issue on a flat surface, it secures quite tight and you need to push and turn a button whilst unhooking the other end so i doubt many kids could even reach both sides of the gate let alone have the dexterity to unlock it.
the only things i don't like about this gate are -

    1. its very noisy when opening or retracting.. it makes a loud ratcheting, clicking sound.. but i can only assume they've done this on purpose so that you can hear if a child managed to open it?

    2. its a pain to install because you need to drill it into the walls/cupboards with screws for each end, so if you are worried about permanently marking the walls then this gates not for you

as far as i know there isn't another gate that suits an opening that large (unless you buy one of the other traditional style gates which you can buy extensions for, but even then i don't think you're suppose to use more than one or 2 extender pieces on each end before it effects the security of it.
