    Hi supastar,

I know what it feels like to be where you are, the hardest part is defiantly opening up to someone about it, but in the end the thing that made me do it was I realized I was doing more harm to myself and those I loved by covering up my depression and anxiety, than if I opened up and said "hey I need some help over hear" I also found it easier talking to someone I didnt know as it didn't really matter as much to me what they thought about me IYKWIM, lifeline is really a great idea if you cannot bring yourself to tell your DR,

Good luck with your appointment, your DR is not going to judge you, they are there to help and support you

I know where I ocean shores is. I'm on the south side of Brisbane. Just remember you will have all our support on here if you need to talk about anything, ever.
We all have down days, we all have days where we eat chocolate, sit in our pjs and don't leave the house.
Maybe we should all get together in our pjs and eat chocolate together lol!!
Supa_star once you get through the first step you will feel some relief. Xxxx

Hi girls just checking in after a very rough 48hrs. My Nanna is conscious again but her dementia has progressed quite badly. But for now she seems out of the woods. I had a massive cry at the hospital Wednesday and have kept myself together somehow. DD has an ear infection to boot so really it's been a rotten week.

Here's hoping we all have better weekends

Some people just have no idea when it comes to depression GRRR

I caught up with some friends yesterday and one of them was very quiet and withdrawn I know she suffers from depression so I just made a mental note to give her a call later and she if she was ok instead of bringing up in front of everyone

After lunch we were sitting around and once she left some of the other people launched in to a bish about how unsocial she was and should have just stayed home etc etc etc, there was even a comment made about her Meds, I was appalled these people are ment to be this girls friends and instead of asking if she is ok they just whinge and complain. I really had to bite my tongue, I griped to be diplomatic and say that there could be other stuff going on we don't know about but it didn't do anything, I had to leave they now probably think I'm an over reacting bish, but you know what who cares, it just really shows how naive some people are when it comes to depression GRRR
