    Hi guys...

Wondering if i can join you? I'm not due until July (july 14) not sure if you have a monthly 'cap'?

Im due to get my blood results back on Friday (have been putting off getting these done... as i wanted something to hold onto until i was closer to my miscarriage timeframe).. then i will get the second lot done on Monday with results on the wednesday.. and have my first ultrasound for heartbeat booked in for 8w4d on the 6th December.

In the meantime i'm driving myself crazy with 1 sometimes 2 HPT tests to make sure i'm still pregnant.. and I also spent some time on google, reading up on diarrhea, as i have had two nights of severe cramping followed by the diarrhea (previously i was constipated)... one silly google website told me it was a sign of miscarriage.. thankfully i found several threads with others proclaiming the normality of it... anyone else having this?!?

    A

Angelski - welcome!! Glad you found us!! You'll recognize most of the names in here from the ttc thread.
"monthly cap"?? What do you mean? We are all pregnant after a loss and due in various months... There are a few in May, quite a lot of us in June, and a few July due dates too anyone is welcome!
Makes sense waiting for 2nd round bloods, I did the same and waited until I was closer to my m/c stage. You'll no doubt be looking forward to that first scan in 3 weeks!! How have you been feeling? (emotionally and physically)

I hope you have a lovely time in NZ WOP!

Autumn we are nearly due date buddies again! I thought of you straight away when I got pushed back a couple of days! We're close enough for me!
I'm actually not having a NT scan, after lots of talking and thinking with DH & our OB. Our next scan will be at 18 weeks - which seems so far away! But my OB does have his own scan machine (sorry, I'm sure the official name is much more technical than that lol) so I'm hoping he will give me sneak peeks between now & then to keep me sane!

Good on you for getting your blood test done Gracie's mummy! & the job sounds so promising!! I have everything crossed for you
I find myself getting full so quickly these days and can hardly eat at dinner! Which is completely unlike me, I'm usually such a big eater. Glad to hear I'm not alone! Why do you think this happens?

Hi Mad! Ooh how exciting, only a few more days until you get a good look at bub!

Hopeful! Congratulations on your second trimester! woo hoo! I'm so envious that you're in Bali right now you lucky duck! Enjoy!

Happy Birthday to Delilah for tomorrow Hanm!

You are more than welcome here Angelski! I know how hard it is to stop worrying and over-analysing I find this thread great for venting my worries, as I know everyone in here understands! Can't wait to hear your awesome blood test results!

AFM - went to OB appt today to show him my scans etc. He was very impressed & even said "beautiful!" when looking at our bean! He said it's a very strong heartbeat and everything looks great ohhh how relieving to hear! I asked him what our chances of m/c are now.. he said 5% after reaching 10 weeks and seeing a heartbeat. so only a few more days until I get past that mark. I know we're not out of the woods yet, but figure 1 in 4 chance of m/c down to 5% is pretty damn good! Also, he sent me to get the glucose test today. I had to drink this stuff and wait around for an hour and then get bloods and urine. I thought that wasn't done until 20+ weeks? I've tried reading online and can see that maybe as I'm high risk for diabetes he is getting me tested earlier? Anyone else heard of this?

big hello to those ladies & beans I have missed xxx

Daisy - Usually the glucose test is done around 28-30wks... unusual to be done so early but maybe that is because you are high risk for diabetes as you suggested? Its pretty foul isn't it! You start of drinking it and its not so bad and just seems like really sweet flat lemonade and then by the time you get to the end of the bottle you just want to spew
Do you need to do it again at 28wks??
You are so lucky your OB has an ultrasound!! I wish mine did!! I would love to get regular sneak peaks at Bumpkin! I think i'd really struggle not to find out the gender though.... do you plan to find out?

Thanks Gracie's mummy. I probably should have asked my OB why but didn't realise it was that test until I got to the pathology place. I'm seeing him again next Wednesday so will have results then. I'm worried that I'll have GD. Not much I can do though. No we are going to keep the sex a surprise! it will be tough with easy access to scans but worth it
