I'm so sorry. Please ask your GP to do a urine test for ureaplasma. Lots of dr will say it has no impact on fertility but my fs says it does I was tested and treated and now have a baby after 15 cycles and 6 mc with IVF I lost all my babies before my first scan. X hugs

my story seems pretty similar to yours. But, After 6 years of trying and 9 IVF rounds we decided to stop trying, too much stress, financially getting ridiculous, heartbreaking and age.

We decided to take time off work and go to Bali for 3-5months to de-stress, reconnect and plan a life without a baby.
And I know this sounds like 'one of those' stories ... I know when I heard 'those' stories I never thought I would be one ...
but miraculously I fell pregnant. Now I'll tell you I believe it happened for a few reasons. I was relaxed and healthy ... off fertility drugs after being on them so long and my body had recovered from that process. I was eating great organic food. AND I believe IVF and all the losses trained my body what to do ...
but here is the bit I wanted to share with you ... at 7 weeks I had a small amount of bleeding but after miscarriage, well I am sure you know ... that is not something you want, so I panicked and got sent to a doctor in Bali for an ultrasound and he was FANTASTIC. the ultrasound showed a heartbeat ... amazing. He tested me for antibodies to see if my body was rejecting the embryos ... I suggest you ask for this to be sure. He put me on progesterone support for the first 12 weeks to help support the pregnancy until the placenta could do that itself. AND he put me on baby aspirin to take till near the end of the pregnancy. He said it would thin the blood a little and prevent clots ... that sometimes can be formed in the lining and prevent the placenta from being able to attach properly. And told me not to have sex til after 12 weeks.
I TOTALLY trusted him as he took so much time and care, I am now sitting in shock at 13 and half weeks that I have a progressing pregnancy.

I am not sure what you can take from my story but I do hope you take it easy on yourself and stay strong on the tough journey ... mostly I think it's luck ... and having a real fighter ... I think for me all the elements just coincided with some luck and a tough little embryo. Every night I tell it to keep growing, battling and hanging in there. And I so hope it does.

Big Hugs to you and I hope to read a great success story from you soon.

Sending you hugs at this awful time. I hope you find yourself a great specialist who will listen to you and help in your quest for a baby. I hope you still enjoy the festive season and look upon 2012 as YOUR year. Good luck with everything and look forward to hearing good news.

well the private ob I seen today was amazing she was so nice and she did listen and she is making me get a lot of blood test done she couldnt believe my ivf doctor had not done any genetic testing or karyotype test on me and my husband to see if there is any problems she did agree on the asprin and staying on progesterone for longer and she said she was going to look into how over active immune system which is a symptem of my hlab27 positive( antiflammatory disease) can affect fertility and taking a low does of prednisone can supress it its when your immune symptoms is over active and produces natural killer cells that think the baby is an infection or tumor or something and tries to kill it off resulting in a m/s so ladies if you have hlab27 or arthritis have a think about if you get sick or not Iam not talking about joint pain Iam talking about colds and flu or chicken pox stuff like that its one the signs of the over active immune system Iam no doctor but when you have been trying for a baby for so long and had 5 m/s doing a bit of research and asking lots of questions does not hurt I felt silly asking yesterday and I didnt want the doctor thinking that I thought I was some kind of expert but she didnt she said I know my body better than her and if we have to do some simple tests to give me a picece of mind it carnt hurt so my advice is if your worried even if its something small just ask if you find your doctor does not want to listen change doctors for something as important as trying for a baby you want a doctor who will listen and cares the lady I seen yesterday is an ob and gyno so she will help me get pregnant again and look after me all the way and deliver the baby when we get that far sorry for the long post but just laying in bed resting from my d & c yesterday good luck to you all and dont give up
