It usually happens early on, for me it was at 5 wks. I had had a postive HPT for a week. I started bleeding and it was much like a normal AF.

Does that sound similar to what you have happening?

I am pretty sure it is a term for very early pregnancy. Tests are so sensitive now that you can get a pos result before your period, but then get your period (might be a few days late).

This was exactly the same as me. I only got faint lines, they never got any darker. I tested everyday until I was bleeding. I knew in my heart of hearts it wasnt right as the others (from my previous pregnancies) were much darker than that especially after my period was due. I started bleeding at 5 1/2 wks. I hope you find out whats happening

I have just had my second chem preg. You should just get AF as usual, it maybe a little late. Most people don't even know that they have had a chem pregnancy as they usually happen very early.

I had mine at about 4.5 weeks. I got a faint positive line and 'felt' pregnant. I had my usual signs. I then started to bleed like a normal af but 3 days late. I also passed a jelly type blob about the size of a grape, it was clear with a pinkish center. That's when it hit me it was over. I hope your ok.

Mine was before af was even due. Got faint BFPs for 2 days and half a day of morning sickness, then spotting followed by heavy yuck af. Blood test a week later showed hcg gone and only 2. I told myself I would never test early again but have already cracked open the fr. Af not even due until either mon or Tuesday or even later who knows I didn't track. Very frustrating but atleast egg met sperm

I could have written this word for word. Have just been through this myself this week. Tested only 9 days after ovulating and was positive. Was positive again 11dpo but it was on this day I started bleeding, so before AF was due. I too am never going to test early again. Damn those ultra sensitive first response pregnancy tests!

    Sorry for your loss

With my chem pg, I had light BFPs on 13, 14, 15 & 16dpo. Had a blood test on 16dpo and hcg was only 30. Two days later it had crept up to 34, then AF arrived one week after that. I bled very heavily the first day and needed panadeine forte for the cramps, worst AF ever

Hope the next bubba is sticky!

Hugs i was so upset when it happened. My fr was still positive a week later even though I had af. Strange thing is that I was still getting a faint line the day before my blood test showed hcg 2. This whole ttc business is so frustrating!
