    Hey girls,

Chic - I hope you are doing ok!

Shazzy - Sorry things didn't go well I wish I had some advice but I know nothing about the levels at all.
In regards to the chinese medicine ... I haven't used it to fall pregnant, but I did use it when pregnant with my son. I will swear to it that it made all the difference! He had a congenital lung issue and the Drs couldn't tell us if he would survive, and there was no treatment at all, just a wait and see game. I don't do waiting so well so made it my mission to do something. He gave me some weird mix to drink..it was foul, but I was willing to do anything! Miraculously the cysts stopped growing and his heart and unaffected lung started moving back into their right spots.

AFM - Shocking few days with nausea and vomiting It came back to bite me in the bum!
A pretty awful thing happened to my youngest sister and its really scared me.
I had DDs concert at which I was a helper (volunteered before I did IUI!) which was really exhausting, and had me once again thanking God for zofran!

Shazymoo, I'm sorry you are back at the drawing board. Have you had all the bloodwork done for immunology? or tested for NK cells? What about AMH?
I don't think it is justified to rush into donor eggs until you've been tested for everything and looked into any other solutions. You are right to be doing your own research, and I would maybe suggest getting a second opinion fro another FS. good luck!

RWS, Thanks, I'm doing ok, much better than last week. I've decided not to dwell on it and start thinking about our next steps if this doesn't work. I can't bear wasting time so I need a plan of action.
Sorry to hear you are not feeling too well...and I hope your sister's ok.

Our baby dream, Good luck on your tww I'm also in the tww for a fet. When is your BT? I hope this is your sticky one...

    Hello

Charparis – I hope this is your sticky one too. When is your BT? have you had any symptoms?

AFM - I have my blood test on the 1st December... eek Really hoping this is our lucky one.

I spoke to our clinic the other day and they have ordered me a extra 2 vials of our donor. This makes a total of 3 vials spare at the moment.
I’ve had a bit of cramping but not looking into it much. The drugs can also give you symptoms. I have decided to do a HPT this time in the afternoon on the 1st December. Really don’t want that call and lose all self control over the phone to the nurse again.

    Take care

Ourbabydream, my BT is the 30th of Nov, so just a day before yours. I'll POAS just a few days before as I can never wait to get the bad news from the clinic. No symptoms as of yet but I am trying not to analyse or think about it too much...I guess we're pretty much alike in that way! The cramping is a good sign though...

    Hi Ladies

Im new - and Ive just been catching up on the last few weeks reading away at posts. It sad we all have to endure these highs and lows. But we are all here and are going through the same thing, Im glad ( in a way) to read im not the only one feeling the way I do.

Im starting my 3rd cycle tomorrow, I have pcos and slight immune issues. Im going on the Bondi Protocol. Has anyone got advise? Will I be crazier than other cycles ? And has anyone done it with accupuncture? Ive exhausted my h/fund rebates and wasnt sure whether to hit the accupuncture or not?

    any comments will be appreciated

Take care of you ladies x

    Hi,

Sorry this is going to be a woe is me thread. After a few scares we finally made it toour 8 week scan yesterday only to find out we had a blighted ovum.

It didn't really sink in till I went to bed last night. I am upset and very angry.
I opted to see if nature will take it's course but I may need a D&C before Christmas.

Of course MS is still with me which annoys the hell out of me.

I am really upset for my DH because he has been through enough heartache and we were both so excited at having a baby in early July.

We probably won't cycle again until February.

    Good luck to everyone else!

I wish you all the best xxxxx

AFM – Well slowly going crazy waiting till BT on 1st December. Counting down the sleeps.

Puffsgirl- I'm so sorry your world has been shattered with the news of a blighted ovum. I hope it resolves itself quickly so you can avoid the D&C. This is so unfair

Our Baby Dream- belated congrats on your PUPO-hood! I hope embie has made him/herself cosy already

RWS- great news that you've got a back-up supply from the same donor! The shocking MS clearly hasn't put you off the thought of more bubs . That story about chinese meds fixing your DS' lung condition in-utero is amazing!!

Angelaglitter- Hello & welcome! I did the Bondi protocol with my last cycle and felt no side effects at all. Some women do report having a shorter fuse from the steriods (prednisone/prednisolone). Acupuncture is proven most effective when done within 1 hr pre and post ET. They are the only 2 sessions that I would do, but other points in the cycle are still beneficial for relaxation. All the best with your cycle!

Chicparis- so close to BT now, this is the point where I go completely NUTS! Hope you're finding things to busy yourself. Everything crossed for a BFP

Shazzymoo- I'm so sorry this cycle didn't pan out. We have been seeing a fertility naturopath for a few years, that was our first step before moving onto IVF. I really believe that following their lifestyle advice & taking their herbs has contributed to our great quality embies both stim cycles. While I only get 6-7 eggs, the ones that fert all make it to blast with no fragmentation and we always have some to freeze. The reason they don't stick is something we are still investigating. If I were in your shoes, I'd definitely go for a naturopathic consult & see what they say. You have nothing to lose by trying alternative therapies!

Forever- thinking of you and hope you're doing OK.

AFM- Won't be long til I'm jabbing again, Nov AF showed up a week early, so that brings everything forward. Likely to start next cycle ~Dec 19th with EPU ~Jan 2. Great to see this thread still going!
