RWS - I did the ClearBlue one and it said Pregnant 1-2 weeks. Not game enough to do another one. I only have a cheapy one left anyway.

I am going to the clinic tomorrow to have my BT and will get the results Monday morning. If my cycle went off 32 days AF is due today, but I am usually a 28 day cycle (have been 32 days after my Chem Pregnancy).

I am trying very hard to not to look too much into it but it's hard.

    Wishing us all and !

Puffsgirl- Congrats on your positive HPT!! When I was briefly pg, I had a very heavy feeling down low & thought the mother of all AFs was coming. So many ladies say they felt the same & swore AF was coming any minute. Don't be discouraged, a BFP is a BFP! I hope you have great levels when you get BT results on Monday.

RWS- I pretty much live in a permanent state of detox anyways, so its not that hard for me. The most difficult thing is remembering to take all the extra pills & potions. It will be tough on DH with no booze over Xmas, but if we get our golden embie this time, it will all be worth it! So are your kids excited about bub? I remember awhile back your DS was very sweet about hoping it would work.

Ohh Puffs! Im excited for you! I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic, but I'm sitting here grinning from ear to ear! It certainly sounds promising!

Lindy - I'm glad it won't be too hard for you..poor DH having no booze over xmas! My DH didn't find it to hard to give it up with coffee and coke prior to knowing about his MFI, when he thought it was for a good cause!
The kids are very excited! They keep talking about it, fighting over whether it will be a boy or girl Suggesting names and wanting to buy all baby stuff. They have done surprisingly well keeping the secret, although they are counting down the last few weeks until 12 weeks when I said they can tell everyone!

    Hi,

Just a quick me post. I got a BFP. My level was 48 which I am very worried about but was told by the FS that it is a good level as I had my BT earlier than I should of.
I have stupidly googled levels and still think it is very low. I have had another FS at my clinic ring me (the FN was worried about how I reacted to the level) and tell me that she would be happy with that level and that as long as the level is above 12 (seems way too low) they regard that as a pregnancy.
Apparently as long as your levels double or whatever when they should it doesn’t matter what the levels are (I think the FS just told me that to stop me from crying). She also told me that if you have your transfer in the afternoon implantation doesn’t usually occur until the next day, why don’t they tell you this beforehand?

I have another BT tomorrow morning and will get the results Wednesday morning. On top of this I am really nauseated and all I want to do is have a huge chuck up (apparently a good sign). I am telling you I am currently a raving lunatic.

Thank you so much to you girls for all of your support. I will let you know how I go on Wednesday. Please keep everything crossed for me!

    and to us all!

YAY Puffs!! Congratulations! I knew it! I was trying to be reserved Im so excited for you, I actually have tears and goosebumps!

Try not to worry about numbers.. I know its easier said than done! But Ive read so much on them and its pretty universal that the level doesnt count for much as a single number, but the rising levels are whats important!

Bummer that your clinic makes you wait a day for results! Im impatient for you!

And yep, the need to chuck is supposed to mean your progesterone levels are good....as much as I hate saying the words chuck and good in the same sentence while I sit here without more than half and hour between chucks myself

Feel free to be as much of a raving lunatic as you need! I totally understand!

Ill have everything crossed for rising levels tomorrow!

Puffsgirl- If you go into the sticky thread on HCG levels for DPO, there's a table on the last page that shows levels for viable pregnancies (or you can try the link in the first post to betabase, but that site is often down). Some start out as low as 5 at 16dpo, so at 48 you most certainly have a chance! It is true that the doubling time is more important that the hcg itself. Everything crossed for your follow up BT

RWS- oh dear, chucking every 30 mins must be horrible! I hope you get some relief soon so you can enjoy this pregnancy.

Its not 'real' chucks.. More like dry heaving and bile as Ive got nothing to bring up! Im so looking forward to the 12 week mark when things should subside!
