    Default Twin/Tandem prams/strollers???

Hi, I am a young mum looking for advice. I have a 11month old daughter and am expecting number 2 in November. Not really sure where else to look for advice on strollers.

Which would you all choose? Tandem or Twin? The Tandem doesnt look like it has much leg room for the child that sits in the back and the twin looks too big to fit through most doors.
Would you choose a 3 wheeler or 6?
Do you have any recommendations on which are best?

Thank you so much for your time.

Twin, I have 14 months between mine and I wish I had a twin, the tandam is great if your kids are more then 2 years apart... I would go 4 wheels, look at baby jogger city elite double or city mini double... Both great strollers

I have a Phil and Ted side by side .. Love it, 4wheels, easy to manouver (sp?) .. Fairly light etc.

I wouldnt ever go another 3 wheeler! I found it tipped alot, especially going up a gutter or step etc and usually tips too the heavier side. And I wouldnt go for a stiller type thing, they are awkward to push when the kids weigh noticeably different weights and I found it hard after my boys hit about 12kilos to push without having to put all my might behind it.

I have had too many bloody twin prams over the last 3years and the p&t side by side is definitely a fave.

I have a P&T tandem that I use for going for walks, short shopping trips etc. It is great in how it is easy to push but bad in how my kids don't like being the underneath one and the basket space is half used by feet. I also have a cheap ($99 from Targae on sale) side by side that I use if we do shopping (shopping centre type shopping. I use the other if we walk to the shops). Both kids can see (which makes them happy) and I have shopping basket space.

Thank you everyone. Hopefully I find one that suits me. Going to have a look at the Baby and Toddler Show in Sept and keep my eyes open over the next few months.

I have baby jogger city select, love it because you can have children in different positions eg facing you, facing out, facing each other... You can also have baby capsule and big seat, I think there are 16 options altogether. Good luck choosing

My DH has just ordered the twins a Bugaboo Donkey from the US - I've test driven the Cameleon and it just glides so we're pretty excited to get our hands on this piece of machinery haha

I mainly decided on a side by side as we only have these two kiddies and I felt the tandem would not be suitable for newborns. I have had a go of the Baby Jogger City Mini which i'm also impressed with!

Other options are the Moutain Buggy Duo which drives like a dream aswell and has bassinet and big seat combinations to suit any age babies/toddlers.

Can't wait until our Donkey arrives I'll definately write a review!
