I don't get how this is anyones business but the woman having the baby? How does other women having an elective c/s affect you? Truth is it doesn't at all.

I've had 2 vaginal births but was induced with my first due to being 42 weeks and I was induced after 28 hours of labour with DS2 because of an abruption and failing to progress.

What a completely IGNORANT comment! Who are you that you THINK you have the right to decide how a woman should birth her baby??

My niece was still born thanks to an ob who refused to do an elective c-section at the request of the mother. She requested it because she had spent over $50,000 trying to have this baby. She begged the ob for an elective c-section and he refused because of your type of small minded thinking! My niece died because of his incompetence! The vaginal birth was so stressful for her little body that her heart just stopped. they ruled it was from the stress.

You really should think more before making such an idiotic comment!

Oh and let me add I have absolutely NO intention of giving birth vaginally and have opted for a c-section. I have just as much right as the woman giving birth vaginally to get pregnant and have this baby. I'm boggled by your small mind mentality ...

Once again, it's no ones business bar the mother. There are so many reasons women choose to have an elective c/s - I suffered from PTSD after the traumatic birth of my second son. I could have died, as could he. I have considered having an elective c/s with my belly babe because I am absolutely terrified of giving birth again.

So going by your way of thinking I don't deserve to have another child because I am too scared to have another VB? What an absolute joke.

Neither am I but you can't make a stupid comment like that and not expect backlash. I am not high risk , I don't want my bits stretched, and I'm terrified of giving birth vaginally and for these reasons have chosen the c-section ... again that doesn't give you the right to judge regardless of my reasons. MY vagina. MY choice.
