so sorry to hear your news. I had two miscarraiges in a row - but a word of warning about getting pregnant straight away, it's not the best idea as your body needs at least one cycle ( but i think they recommend around 2 cycles) before you should try again. I was pregnant a month or two after my first miscarriage & it ended in another miscarriage. I agree you should see a fertility expert to make sure its not something simple they can fix, i had a problem absorbing folic acid & as soon as i got onto the extra strong folic acid tablets we havent had any problems with our future pregnancies. In saying that, it is quite common for people to have a number of miscarriages, but many people dont talk about it & many people dont know they miscarried as they never knew they were pregnant. Any way the most important thing is that you focus on getting through this, healing yourself mentally & physically & then after that is done start looking forward & planning how to make your dream of a baby come true - & it will, this is just a delay in the process & when you do have a baby in the near future it will make you appreciate it even more - i know i did.

Take care & just focus on getting through this however you need to.

Oh goosette!!! I am so very sorry honey! It totally isn't fair!!! Such crappy news!!

Like others have said, take time out to grieve, take time out for yourself and DH, and try again when you're ready and if they offer some testing don't be afraid to take it...

Your little angel was obviously too perfect for this earth...

Thanks for your thoughts Wicket - I'll definitely be taking some time to let things get back to normal.

You're very brave lola77 - I don't think I could do it naturally. Thinking of you

nat84u - so sorry to hear about your mc's. 4 sounds simply aweful. I'm definitely going to push my gp for a referral to a FS to try and get some answers.

babylove81 - thanks for the kind thoughts. I really appreciate it.

Thanks BreadRoll. I think expecting it did help. Gonna take each day as it comes. Thanks for chatting, it's been lovely on Bh.

They gave me fentanyl (great buzz) endone and tramadol. Fair bit of pain to start with, but ok now.
