Apparently OB is happyt as long is it continues to rise and baby has a heart beat.

Progesterone is up from 40 to 49.

I guess we'll find out if the baby still has a heartbeat soon I think we have another U/s at 9weeks.

So depressing and nerve wracking !!!!
I'd agree with nat84u - I think as long as it's increasing, that's a good thing. Fingers are all crossed for your US at 9 weeks. I really hope it all works out.

AFM, bleeding again - really anxious and not coping atm. It's not a lot, but still getting to me. Still waiting on the bloods to come back from the doctor.

nat84u - Thanks for the support! Thats so good to hear.

Unfortunatley so much confusing and contradictory info out there on bHCG in pregnancy.

Goosette - I hope you're gonna be a ok. Try not to stress, drink lots of water and put your feet up. keep us posted about your results!! its probably nothing to worry about!! if worst comes to worst ... turn to chocolate. it is your friend~!!!

Thanks BreadRoll - it's the stressing out that's really not helping. I've put my feet up, grabbed my hot water bottle and cranked the fire. Nothing I can do........
It's been awesome to have people here going through something similar to stress with (not that we want to be here, but you know what I mean )

Goosette - did you get those bloods done hun? I has having mine done every few days. If you got into the hospy they can have the bloods done and results back within the hour (I did this around 8-9 weeks as I started cramping also) but sure enough the numbers were still going up. Also if you can get into your GP they can write multiple referals for the bloods, I left with about three so I just had to go into the path lab every few days instead of getting a new referal each time IYKWIM. Then the Dr can phone through the results to you instead.

Bread roll - Bloods will stop doupling every 24 hours and slow down to every few days the further along you get. Even from the start mine were a bit all over the shop but definatly going up.

When you get your U/S's done too get them to check for where the bleeding may be coming from, at my 7 week U/S they showed me a little pool of blood around the outside of the sac and by 12 weeks it had dissapeard. Was still stressfull bleading but at least it was coming from somewhere IYKWIM

    take care guys xx

Hi Danni - I got bloods from the dr this morning, just waiting on the results. I think I'll ask her if I can get them done a few times. I had an US on monday, and they said there was a bruise from where the placenta had attached - that made sense with the red blood on saturday, then brownish for the next few days, but I can't understand why it's started up again. I think I'd be more positive if I knew where/why it was coming from. It's the bleeding coupled with a bit of cramping that's totally freaking me out.

Sooo... Dr just called, bloods have gone from 11409 on sat to 22000 today. She was positive about that. Progesterone was 37, she wasn't a big believer on it indicating anything.
I can only hope and wait- it's bloody hard with the bleeding and cramping. But good signs so far.

I spotted through the pregnancy that gave me my daughter.

Also, HCG levels no longer double in 48 hours after they reach a certain level. It an then take up to a week to double which is perfectly normal. If your Dr is positive Id be a little less worried. At over 20000 HCG you should have a good chance of seeing a heartbeat if you have a scan. Good luck.

Try not to stress too much. I had bleeding at 6wks, 8wks, 13wks, 25wks (huge bleed & back labour which they stopped), 31wks & then finally at 35wks when he was born safe & sound.

It was the biggest rollercoaster of my life because I also had rhesus negative.

I was very glad once he was born & he suffered no ill effects.

    Good luck!

i am sure everything will be fine.

I had two miscarriages with no bleeding at all until the day i miscarried, then with my current pregnancy i had bleeding from 8 weeks until 11 weeks & then no more bleeding & i am now nearly 33 weeks along. Bleeding can be a sign that there is a problem but a very large percentage of women suffer from bleeding in pregnancy that go on to have healthy pregnancies. In my experience the bleeding to worry about usually happens in very close proximity ( hours ) before a miscarriage actually occurs. The more time that passes indicates it could be something else like bleeding from the cervix which can be common, or bleeding in the uterus or behind the placenta etc. In my first pregnancy (my dd is now 13 months old) they saw blood in the uterus on the 7 week ultrasound & told me i might bleed or the uterus might actually reabsorb it - i never bled - but the technician told me it is quite common & they dont know why it happens.

Good luck to you - but i am sure everything will be absolutely fine
