Aloevera I'm glad you have had a successful cycle so far I'm interested in finding out about the vitamins etc your hubby was put on.

Did your FS put him on these or did he see an Andrologist? My dh had Testicular Cancer and the chemo has damaged the count he had prior to being sick but not all is lost and I'm sure some of the damage would benefit from vitamins etc despite what the oncologist tells us.

Atm we are using pre-chemo frozen sperm, not great quality but just ok apparently.

I'm having transfer Saturday if our 2, 2 day frozen embryos survive to day 5. If one doesn't thaw on day 2. i'll have transfer Wednesday. I'm not all that confident i'll get one to 5 days but FS is optimistic one will survive from 2!

Mnmc thank you so much for posting about your time doing Ivf, I love reading positive stories they really keep me going. I know 4 transfers is not a lot but I've found it so hard and cannot imagine doing another 5 to get a bfp. I know I would find the strength from somewhere to keep going. Enjoy your pregnancy

hi green mum to be, my answer would be basically what felicity has written below definately the prednisone and clexane but also aspirin. i see by ure history uve had chem preg, so they have tried to give it a go, but couldnt get further. id look into the colorado protocal too and DHEA.
as ive said in previous posts, i dont think my daughter would be here if it wasnt for prednisone.

    babydust to u all

    [QUOTE=
Green Mum to be - dunno, just throw everything at it? DP on DHEA for 3 months prior to stim until EPU. Prednisolone and clexane for implantation. Antibiotics for implantation. (Luveris for egg quality during stim helped me, but I had acquired a history of LH dropping too low.) Assisted hatching. Extra progesterone support plus monitoring of levels during TWW. Change type of progesterone support or add in second type. Have you had hysteroscopy? Pre- post-transfer acupuncture. Uterine biopsy or similar "trauma" less than 3 cycles/months before transfer.[/QUOTE]

    Hi all,

    Busy day in here today!

Gretchen, I have every thing crossed for you that the fantastic four keep going strong. I have never had clexane so can't help you out on this front but they sound nasty. I am on crinone once a day (90mg) and started 2 days after EPU. Good luck hon.

kmvw - Fingers and toes crossed for you too that your frosties are strong and make it to day 5. The waiting is just dreadful isn't it. My FS is a MFI specialist so we took her advice re DP diet and vitamins. He takes vitamin E, vitamin c and menavit. He's diet is full of berries, nuts, lean meat and green vegetables. No caffeine and no alcohol. I was very skeptical about it making a difference but at the moment, on face value, it seems to have helped.

Hi Greenmum - it's nice to meet you. I'm afraid I can' help you out but looks like katiana has it covered. Good luck with your FS. Let us know how it goes.

    All the best ladies...

Green, whan clinic are you with? Who is your FS? It's good to see you around again, but I'm so sorry you are still having trouble xx
At one point or another, I was on nearly every drug and acupuncture. All I needed in the end was a MRI that found my septum, a lap to remove it and a normal stim cycle.
I'd go down the list, hysteroscopy, lap, scans (inc MRI), drug combinations [puragon, Gonal F, pregnal, prednisolone, clexane (there is more than one strength), aspirin, doxycycline, organutran etc. try acupuncture. Anuploidy testing (can be done on fresh embys only). There is a new freezing/thawing process, is ment to be much improved.
if you want info on surrogacy, (I was at that point) then I can point you in the right direction for more info there.
all the best, and much love xx

    Hi everyone,

I'm so sorry I haven't been around much during the past week, I've needed to take some time away to try and come to terms with things. I'm not finding it easy lately, I'm still feeling really sad and unhappy all the time and finding it hard to concentrate at work. It's this feeling of disbelief that I finally got to 14 wks preg after over 9 years trying and then it's all taken away. Now I'm stuck in this unknown again as to whether it will ever happen again. Anyway, that's just me and my struggles with my emotions at the moment. We have to wait 6 weeks for pathology results, going back to the FS mid July so another dreadful 3 weeks to wait. Then hoping to go straight into a FET cycle with our last remaining blastocyst.

I know one or two of you ladies are in your 2ww. Wishing you lots of luck and sending you sticky vibes!!

Apologies I am not responding individually, it's hard to keep up. Hoping everyone is well 😄

    Mary

Mary the waiting must be so very hard for you, I hope it doesn't drag too much more.

Had my first appointment with a new FS today, there are so many tests my dh and i should have had done before cycle 1! I wish I had of started with this new FS from day 1.

I have to go on Clexane next cycle as I have autoimmune issues which could be causing problems.

I have a few embies left that have been thawed on day 2 and are now growing to day 5, transfer is meant to be this Saturday and i haven't heard from mivf today, so my embies must be alive still! One more day to grow. I have a good feeling
