Rice - I'm so sorry to hear of your BFN. If you believe there may be an immune problem or something similar then you might need to see someone else. My Dr only did a NK cell biopsy after I argued with him, and he was adamant that he didn't agree with that testing. I was told to do PGD. Well, I don't care what he agrees with... I know my body better than anyone! So I went to see an RI, and turns out I DO have an immune problem... And not only that, but the RI seems to think I can fall pregnant without IVF (but with other meds). If I had just stayed with my original FS, I no doubt would have forked out heaps of money for PGD that I don't need! Feel free to PM me if you want anymore info. Huge hugs xxoo

Thanks for the kind words Jamison and Star.

Loveabug - sorry, I've never had any frozen so don't have any advice except to trust the FS or if you think he is wrong, to stand your ground. Good luck

Green Mum - sorry to hear that Any change?? Light bleeding is meant to be more common in ivf so hope it's all ok.

Rice - really sorry to hear that. In terms of your FS, I've found that they can get very set in their ideas and not always be right (like in our case he was completely wrong). If you feel he is wrong and he won't do the testing I'd try someone who will before doing more cycles, or insist that he try the tests regardless of his opinion. Btw I was on aspirin until week 12 and my obst agreed with my FS that it can help.
SummerShine - I had Cardiprin too, it's one tablet a day and tastes sugary. I wouldn't take it without the FS's knowledge.

April78 - sorry about the lower numbers but hope one (or 2) of the 3 day transfers work, good luck!

Loveabug, what did you decide re: defrosting your embies? for your FET tomorrow.

Greenmum, how did things end up with your cycle? I am so hoping that you got good news?!

Rice, I'm so sorry honey that your cycle wasn't successful. I'm definitely and in your shoes I would also want to investigate further causes for why a chromosomally normal embie did not implant. As Summer has said there are other FS who will do further immunological testing for you, which state are you in? Sending your way while you work out your next course of action.

Summer, usual dose of aspirin is 100mg. The main brands are cardiprin and cartia and can be bought from any chemist.

April, good luck for your EPU tomorrow! When I did CGH I only had 3 eggs retrieved that round (was my worst collection ever) and only 2 were mature. I decided to go ahead with the testing as by day 3 I had 2 A grade embies. They both made it to blast but showed abnormalities so in my case while it wasn't the outcome i hoped for I was glad I went ahead as I feel I likely avoided another miscarriage, but hey that's just my story. I agree it is a hard decision to make with such big $$$ involved.

Jamison, just might take you up on the shoe shopping expedition one day! Do you have a favourite brand or place to shop??

AFM, I am putting my next transfer on hold indefinitely as my body just hasn't cooperated since I had my hysteroscopy in January. I did not get an AF after my cancelled cycle, even though I ovulated and had some degree of lining and my FS isn't showing a lot of interest in pursuing this further or doing any post op evaluation. So I am going to see an Asherman's specialist for a 2nd opinion and see if he can add anything else to the mix as I strongly suspect complications associated with scarring is causing my latest issues. It has been a really hard decision and it has greatly saddened me to delay further (especially turning another year older next week and still no baby ) but I feel in my heart it is the right decision if I am ever going to get to the bottom of why I am experiencing all these roadblocks.

Felicita, I will be wearing the pendant during this time and who knows perhaps it has already guided me to this decision that will put me on the road to my Hope you are the twinnies are doing great!

    Lots of to ALL

Thanks guys. Well we decided to defrost all embies. Alittle scary but we have 2 beautiful blasties on board. Just waiting to see if the last 3 can be refrozen.

    Hi all,

I'll be back to do personals later... sorry this is just a quick 'all about me' post.

I continued to bleed, heavier and heavier even with the increased pessaries. I checked with HPT's and stopped the drugs last night. I couldn't face heading to the clinic for bloods today and i had 'permission' from one of the nurses i spoke to on Friday.

I'm so disappointed, i was so positive about this cycle.

green - I am so sorry about your cycle. It is not a good time and I feel for you and DP.I hope you are okay. Been there I can tell you. Out of all the times I transferred only once I refused to do the BT and let me tell you, I won't be going for BTs again if I bleed. It can just add insult to injury. Take some time to heal. Thinking of you.

Sorry in advance but I am going to do individual posts as I am dog tired and my brain is frazzled from my trip.

Star - My fave brands?? Juicy Couture, Chanel (as IF I can afford that but it's nice to dream). I also LOVE Loubiton shoes (excuse the spelling) but I am yet to own a pair. I love MAC makeup and Nars makeup. Shoe wise I also love Steve Madden but only in the USA. I was a little disapponted this trip as there was nothing too exciting as Australia keeps up with the trends so quickly now. I did get myself an Armani handbag and it was a bargain at under 100 bucks. Believe me, I have NEVER owned a designer handbag before. I picked up some sunnies and crappy little things so it was fun in that respect. We shall hit the shoe stores together someday and we should visit Peep Toe for sure. They have great accessories too. I sound like such a superficial consumer BUT all the while I was shopping I was thinking about what I REALLY want and how I need to make that decision. I just really do not wanna face it.Sunnies and handbags are great for all of five minutes but they are nopt gonna make me happy. I call them "Bandaid" purchases. How are you doing there? I have been thinking about you. I don't want to upset you but I have been wondering about you and if you feel you wanna talk, you can PM me anytime.
