Jamison - I'm sorry . It astounds me as well and happens CONSTANTLY with dp's family and the children. There really is no understanding of the important things in life!

Loveabug - I love it when i get IVF advice from those who have never experienced it *note the sarcasm*. There are plenty of stories of the 'miracle' pregnancies yet i haven't heard one about someone who hasn't made it. I have even had people tell me its the stress and i need to relax and let it happen naturally... um... hello.... I'm a L E S B I A N! If i naturally get pregnant DP is going to be asking A LOT of questions. I think it is proof that people really don't think, they just say what they think is going to make you feel better or is the stock standard response they've heard (and so it is obviously true).

AFM: I had a great weekend relaxing, DP is in grumpy town due to the meds so not doing anything is our best option for the next few weeks.

I'm STARVING and i'm hoping that this is due to the Progynova... I ate lunch an hour ago and i'm eyeing off the nectarine sitting on my desk already! Trying to finish my bottle of water before i eat!

Hello LTIWW how is everyone this week? I am tired just had a naughty coffee to give me a chance to stay awake so I can make my 1st BOOTCAMP class. If you don't hear from me it's because I won't be able to move lol. Wish me luck and the strength and maybe some endurance to last the whole class ; )

Hi LTIWW - It's been a while since I posted but I am keeping an eye on my l/term buddies

Danii - I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine your heartbreak

Loveabug - people can be so insensitive & I find the harder they try (especially by mentioning the urban legend "stopped ivf, relaxed & miracle natural preg") the worse it gets.

Am especially annoyed at those who know what I'm going through offering advice such as "just adopt an african child" or "why don't you go to india & just have a lady have the baby for you?"...WTF I realize that at some stage we may need to consider adoption, a donor or surrogacy BUT we're not at that point yet & I could really use some support around what we ARE doing ...arrrghhh Ok, vent done

Star - wow, sounds like you've had quite a discovery of late. Hoping now your embies can get to the right spot & bfp is closer than ever

Green - love your comment about natural preg causing a few questions from your DP

Felicita - congrats! So special to see the ladies in this thread have their dreams come true

AFM - got karyotype BT results today & we're both perfect. Was happy at first then oddly disappointed as we still have no answer as why no luck so far. One step closer i hope though. EPU planned for Monday...

Greenmum, hilarious! Loved it, and I just wanted to say I am so sorry you have had to deal with ignorant and homophobic comments. You guys sound like you will be awesome parents. for this cycle!

Rice, welcome back! for EPU Monday and it is good news that karyotyping came back normal, 1 less obstacle!

It sounds like quite a few of us having a tough time right now.

Haydos, I'm sorry again to hear about your furbaby I do hope you are able to find some joy in your much wanted and hard fought for pregnancy.

Loveabug, you never know when the grief will get you and it can often come at unexpected times in my experience

Jamison, likewise I'm sorry the family is stressing you out Are you heading back to see Dr S anytime soon?

Lily, Frosty, Lilbirdy, Felicita and our other followers!

Afraid I don't have good news either.
After a good response to low dose FSH, a few follies developing and nicely rising E2 my FET cycle has been cancelled as my lining had actually decreased between scans. WTF!!! It was an incredibly frustrating and upsetting appointment as the FN's were at a loss and I left feeling dejected and hopeless.

My FS phoned me this afternoon and he was also unable to offer any clear answers, except to try again next month. My biggest fear is that my endometrium has been permanently damaged by previous procedures but there is no way of knowing this at this stage. So I will trigger tonight, await AF in 2 weeks and start again.

I am staying on the aspirin and pycnogenol, ceasing clexane and prednisolone and starting progynova from today, so I guess I am doing something that might help next month! FS did agree to prescribe me viagra pessaries for the next cycle. Apparently he hasn't personally seen a lot of improvement with viagra however Dr Sher in the US touts a 70% success rate with thickening the lining on women with previous thin endos (however this has only been successful where there is no damage to the basal layer of the endo). Anyone else had success with this???

It's one of those days really sent to try me and where I wonder how hard is this baby making caper meant to be, how many more obstacles can we endure... but then again how very much wanted a baby is in our lives and I just want to be able to give my frosties the best possible opportunity.

Hoping the week can only look brighter from here for us all
