Loveabug, sending some nice calming energy your way I personally think you did the right thing and kids need to know when they are out of line. Hope the cramping is a very good sign your embies are burrowing in Will you POAS or wait till bt?

AFM, Well the twists and turns they just keep a comin'! Turns out the 2 slow coaches have decided to join the party so we now have 7 out of 9 fertilised!! One of them has even caught up to the main pack while the other is still dragging it's heels at 3 cells... so on day 3 we have 6 good looking embies between 6 and 9 cells!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lining has not progressed over the weekend but remains stable so I am still being encouraged to go ahead with the transfer due to the quality of the endo and my history of implanting 4 embies from 6 transfers, but I am a little nervous about a 6mm lining. If we have a few embies at day 5 I think we will go ahead, if only 1 will wait for a better lining. Fingers crossed the one that goes back in has the goods to go all the way!

    Hi Starf1sh

Wishing you all the very best! Wonderful result with your fertilisation rate. I am sure your lining will be fine but I just wanted to ask if your FS had tried viagra to improve your lining? Last time my lining was a little below the limit and my FS upped my progynova dose and put me on viagra (as a pessary) and my lining jumped from 5.7 to 9.4mm. Apparantly it improves blood flow. You might already have heard of this but just thought I would mention it just in case. Good luck with your transfer!

    Hi Lilybaby
Could you please explain what CD24 is? Sorry but I don't know what a lot of the acronyms are which you think I would at my stage of the journey! So pleased to hear all is going well for you! Have decided to go back and see my FS when my thyroid tests are back and ask again about the pill compared to Zolodex. All the very best to you!

Thanks Danii that really does help to put the mind at ease a little! I won't get another scan on transfer day so won't know what it ends up being but my obsessive googling also back up your experience that a good quality 6mm lining can get the job done! Wonderful to see you are at 9 weeks, how are you feeling?

Ktp, thanks have already asked FS about viagra and he wasn't keen. If I do have a FET I will be keen to hear what his his game plan will be...

Lily, how are you doing hot mama?

Ktp - CD 24, is Cycle Day 24. So the first day of your period is CD1, then you count from there.

Starfish - I've been reading along to see how you are going. It's sounding great so far!

    Morning everyone

Star - I have no idea about vacuoles, all I have been told about is the DNA issue but from the high resolution microscope results it does sound like we have another quality issue. Woo hoo so excited and optimistic with your fert number and growth rates!!!!!!!!!! Hanging out to see how they go, are you transferring one today? Good luck!

Felicita - we don't have the option of the high microscope as QFG don't have one so would definitely like to try try HA-ICSI. I had Polscopes done while at ivfa (again I don't think QFG have it??) and the only thing I found out was that some of my eggs don't appear to have spindles.
The FS said that the embryologist said that the eggs didn't look that great this time but he thought they looked fine, so I got the number for the embryologists and will give them a call and try to get some more details.
In terms of growth, the best result I've ever had was when I was on 75 and they took the first cohort. Still only had 2 of the 5 mature eggs fertilise but the growth of one was racing ahead, best we've ever had so either low numbers or first cohort seem to help with us, but then it could've been a one off.

Frostysmum - yes, unfortunately we seem to be in the doubly bad luck boat, maybe a natural or very low dose with first cohort and HA-ICSI would be our best bet and we may get lucky enough to finally get some success. After all this I think if I finally have a baby I am unsure if I would try for number 2. Unless we can find a repeatable protocol as another 5 years of this seems very daunting.
I'd be very interested in the hgh papers if that's ok, do you have that info on the HA-ICSI too please, I didn't get that.

Jamison - oh yes, I've had: just take a holiday it will happen, you're too stressed just relax, oh and we were told by an eldery relative that being rich wasn't important and we should stop worrying about having money (which we weren't at all and she would have no idea if we have money or not) and hurry up and have children or we would miss out. That was sensitive... DH had to rescue me as I gave a non-committal answer but had steam coming out of my ears.

Loveabug - how did it go with your niece? I completely agree you need to do something, partially for your niece but mainly to show your DD that bullying is not right and that as her Mum you will protect her.

    Hope everyone is going well.

Star---Very very big wish for the bestest of luck today! This is going to be the one! Remember Mel's success story?

Haydos---Can you PM me your email address? There's quite a few papers that I got from the Wazza and DrMummy on human GH. I don't have anything on the HA-ICSI, but I can look it up for you and send you some links.
