Haydos, the 2WW is torture!!! There's no 2 ways about it Monitoring every twinge, constant undie checks ..."am I"..."aren't I"??? And the wait never gets any easier even when you have been through numerous cycles, What else can we do but hope?

What dpo are you now? I have had negative POAS a few times (around 14dpo) that turns out to be positive either testing a few days later or there is hcg present at the bt. Some say it's not over till the fat lady sings, I say it's not over till the bt

One thing I have learnt from hanging around IVF forums for the last 2 years+ is you just never know when your lucky no. is going to come up and a situation that looks hopeless can sometimes bring that unexpected BFP

Mummywannabee, good luck with the stress reduction. It's a toughie in this game to keep it at bay. I was on a really good roll earlier in the year with doing a meditation CD at bedtime and have been trying to get back into it. I was also going to yoga last year but then it seemed like almost every 2nd chick there was UTD! I recently started zumba, haven't seen any pg chicks there! Hope your AF cooperates and you can get your next cycle on the road Will you be doing anything different this cycle?

Lliybaby, sounds like you won the battle re: when your cycle will start! I ALWAYS feel nervous starting a cycle after a big delay or break from IVF. Somehow feels like there is more riding on it when you've taken time out either for a sanity break or to make preparations for the cycle. I'm sure I'll be no better next time around either!

    Hi everyone,

I have been MIA for a bit and it seems I have missed ALOT.

I just wanted to say that after reading back, I would love to give all of those feeling low HUGE and to say I hope you are managing to get through these obstacles in your path. I know it is far from easy and you cannot help but grieve.

Someone said something about not being given anything more than you can handle. That's what my Mum says to me too. That must make all of you EXTREMELY strong women and I know that at times it does not feel like it.

I just wanted to say that I know how bad this can feel and my heart goes out to all the women feeling this way.

    Hi Everyone,
I have a few questions. Is anyone here in Melbourne? Am thinking about changing clinics as not all that satisfied with the one that I'm with so wanting to know of a decent clinic. Also, my fs told me in the beginning that stress pays no part at all in the success or not of ivf. Does anyone know if this is true?

Starf1sh - I'm now 13dpo and 6 days past a pregnyl 1500 shot. And because I'm a glutton for punishment I poas again with a first response and got a faint positive. From what I've read for most people the pregnyl should be gone by now, but for a few it would still be registering. Fingers crossed it's real...

Drea - I've been told different things, I've been told that stress makes no difference and if it did no one would get pregnant during times if war etc but I've also been told that it does make a difference, so not sure which is true sorry.
I haven't been with a Melbourne company but have been with IVF Australia and QFG which are affiliated with Melbourne IVF but don't know anyone who has been there.

Mummywannabee - re the stress are you able to take any time off work for a break to try and de-stress at all?

Haydos, hang in there lovely. We're all for you! When is your bt?

Tadaaaa, (great name btw!) I'm in Sydney too but recommend you ask the gals in the Melbourne thread.
Jamison, to you also gorgeous. I read the outcome of your last cycle on another thread a little while back and I'm sorry. But sounds like you are picking yourself up and getting back on that horse? What have you decided to do next hun?

Haydos - that the double line is the real thing and not just pregnyl. How exciting .

Jamison - , thank you for your kind words. I think you are right, we are all so strong to go through this loooooooong journey even though some days we don't feel that way.

Hi to Starfish, Mummywannabee and all the other gorgeous ladies on this thread.

    Hi Haydos and Starfish,
Thanks a lot for the replies. Ive heard good things about monash ivf but i will keep investigating. Im in the middle of cycle 7 and hoping like mad that all will be ok this time as last month nothing fertilised which was very discouraging. Good luck to all doing cycles right now, and extra special good luck to Starfish, sounds good to me so far! Have a weekend everyone.

Tadaaaaa - I switched clinics a couple of cycles ago and am much happier with my FS now. He is happy to try things we suggest and give us lots of info not just a dumbed down reason as to why we are doing something.
We have had a couple of cycles with no fertilisation at all using ICSI and I know how devastating that can be. Fingers crossed for you!

Tadaaaaa - sorry I missed your post yesterday. I'm not from Melb so cant help you with new clinics or FS's but would def recommend changing if you are unhappy with your current clinic. It was only when we changed clinics in Dec last year that I finally had my adenomyosis diagnosed. Some FS are certainly more proactive than others. Good luck with this cycle, I hope it is the lucky one for you

star - Thanks for the hugs. I am not gonna lie. It has been a VERY tough time since the last transfer. I have not been very happy to say the least but I sought some counselling and I am very slowly starting to feel a bit better. Not sure what is next as DH wants me to get my head together before we make another IVF move. It's probably for the best. How are you feeling? I read some things you posted too and I know how saddening this can be. I hope you are doing okay.

lily - thanks. I hope you are doing well there.

Hi to everyone else and good luck to anyone in the TWW. Fingers crossed for happy happy outcomes.
