New to here, and on my first Clomid cycle

Hi All,

I'm new round these parts, and also new to the Clomid/Assisted Reproduction game. I've got PCOS, and I'm not ovulating. Been trying on and off for three years, and this is our first cycle with Clomid. I took Provera for ten days, and I'm due to start taking Clomid today (Day 2 of my cycle) and just wanted to ask a real Newbie question: when you're asked to take it from Day 2 to Day seven, does that mean you take one tablet each day on Days 2,3,4,5 and 6 (A total of five tablets) or do I take one on day seven as well? Silly question, I know, but I'm really knew to this, and I thought I'd see if I could get an answer before my RE's office opens tomorrow.

Also, did anyone find that their cramps were worse after taking Provera? These are some of the worst cramps I've ever had!

hi kedgie,

i took mine day 2-6 so 23456.

i found my af was a bit heavier then normal after provera but didnt have any cramps

Just thought that I would add that sometimes if you take clomid at night sometimes the side effects are less noticeable. I only had mild side effects but it really helped me. All the best with your ttc journey.
