Chic- so glad the scan went well and you got to see lil bubba moving around. Oh wow four! Glad the drs weren't worried about it. Half way!!!

Echo- I always started poas with opks about day 9 of my cycle. Then when you are going to ovulate you get two lines and get busy. I got the cheap ones off the net because I was addicted! Lol.

no turne- yay congrats on your little girl! We haven't had a girl in here in a long time!!! Hope you are getting lots of cuddles.

    Hi everyone else!!!

Just realised I haven't posted in ages!

Lisa - Hope you've gotten over tonsillitis, yuck!

Elly - Good luck with the FET, I have everything crossed for a successful cycle for you!

Pink - Clay is gorgeous!!! Only the white parts on the cake were meant to be glossy, the rest is due to the damn humidity at the time! I haven't seen your cake attempt on FB - but I'm going to go look for it!

Chic - Ahahaha, So you're saying that they can't have their cake and eat it too??
Holy cow, duplex kidneys! I've never heard of that before. What a special little bub! Fingers crossed that there's no complications.

Nocturne - Yep that was my first proper attempt at a cake like that. Can't wait to have another go at it!

Echo - OPKs show when you have an LH (lutenising hormone) surge, this happens approx 12-36 hours before you ovulate. Generally you would start using OPKs at about CD 8-10 and continue testing daily until you get a positive reading.
Since you have really long cycles, OPKs might be frustrating to use (unless you're ok with testing daily for lengthy time). I would suggest temping as well (or instead). Good luck! Let us know how you go.

AFM - I just had another chem preg

hi ladies! i am going to try to remember everything tht hasbeen going on in here in the past couple of weeks..

first of all bubba i am so sorry on your loss of twin b i am going to send all my positive and sticky vibes to you and twin A!!

Echo - a big welcome to you! i have been using internet cheapie OPKs, fertility2famiy off ebay and i have found them really good. think i paid about $15 for 50? something like that.

nocturne congrats on your little girl! you must be so SO happy! cant wait to see pics

chic - 4 kidneys hey, what kind of a super baby have you got? haha! anyway i hope it is all complication free for bubs, from what the doctor said it all sounds positive though

Magic - im so sorry that you had a chem preg hun big hugs to you! what a frustrating and sad time is ouse?any new developments on the sale of your house?

    sorry to anyone i've missed!!

AFM.. i had a lovely time with my sister and bestie here! it was a whirlwind two weeks though and im almost glad to have some down time again. Fijian is quite hard to learn but i can now count to ten haha. i have a few sayings down pat (good morning, thank you, how are you, thanks for the food, those kind of things) the biggest difficulty is that they dont have all the same letters that we do and the pronounciation is different. Like b is pronounced mb, g is ng, q is ng, j is ch and c is th! so very confusing! but i have found lately that i am understanding more and more of what is being said, so i make a point of joining in the conversation when i can actually understand it! i feel so rude constantly asking what's being said, but i dont like being left out either.
news on a totally different front... af is officially late and i dont feel like she is arriving! i have someone found some immense will power to not pee on a stick just yet as my cycles have been all over the place and i dont want to get my hopes up too early. BUT i have been crazy emotional (crying because i couldnt find the panadol for DH lol) i have sore boobs, low immune system and very mild cramping for a couple of days but it doesnt really feel like AF cramping. so i dont know how long to wait to POAS??

WOW, so much going on here suddenly!!

Nocturne, CONGRATS on the safe arrival of Emily!! Finally a little girl on the thread I hope you are both well, can't wait to see some pics.

MAgic, I'm so sorry to hear about another chem, so unfair... I don't know much about them, but is there anything the Dr can do to help? Maybe taking some progesterone from ovulation onwards?
Yeah, I'd rather my bub not be so special, but as long as it's not a big deal, and bub is ok, then I'll be ok too...

MrsT, uhhhh, have you poas yet????? How can you bear the wait? Drink loads, and for goodness sake, GO PEE!!

sory to disappoint ladies, after all my positive signs this past week af arrived unexpectantly this morning surprisingly i think im okay with it, so on to april for me! the positive i've taken from this month is that by all accounts it would seem i am ovulating (i was unsure if i was, or when in my cycle it was) so thats a good start right!
