Lisa- we are going shopping in the school holidays! Can't wait!!! Just going to buy all the big stuff! Oh i LOVE that cot! Bargain!!!!!

Nocturne- I can still fit into most of my baggy shirts but have had to move onto maternity pants though Are you starting to get a little tummy yet? !!!! A GREAT reason to have week off! Relax and enjoy!!!

Tin- i know what you mean about hurting your sex life. It is all fun to start with but after so long it becomes all about when! Hopefully you won't be for much longer!

Southcoast- do you mind me asking what the results were? We have been through this and after a few tries IVF worked for us. Thinking of you

Sorry I've been MIA ladies, but thank you so much for enquiring about my transfer. It happened today and we now have two 3day embies on board, one is excellent and the other good according to FS. this time it works for us. BT is on the 26/9, so let the waiting and craziness begin!

Angel, So sorry about the m/c, it's so hard and unfair. I hope you feel better soon and can start ttc again and get your sticky one.

Magic, sorry to hear about your dad's results. i hope the DRs have a way of managing it.
Hope AF leaves you in peace very soon...When do you get your test results?

Nocturne, You have the same birthday as my DH! Planning anything nice? Relax sounds great to me, I'm doing that too this week...

Lovepink, YAY for the belly popping!

Summa, Ohhh DH feeling kicks must be so amazing.

Lisa, Getting hand me downs can't be nice. you'd want to enjoy buying everything yourself for your first bubba, it's part of the experience. It reminds me of a book I just read called "The other woman", by Jane green, all about the mother in law! at one point she buys everything for the baby and the daughter in law just goes insane!

Southcoast, Welcome, and i hope the Dr doesn't have bad news for you. But know that there are quite a few of us here who have gone down the infertility routes, and I believe that the key is to not blame either one in the couple. I often feel like a failure but DH always reminds me that we're in this together and it's noone's fault. So many women get pregnant even though their DPs or DHs have mfi issues. There are so many techniques nowadays.

    Elly, your holiday sounds great!

Bubba are you around? back from your holiday yet?

Silent How are you doing hun?

Lizzy, Bboo, Sazra and Stubborn. I hope your stay here is short and sweet.

Woweee, look at all our newbies! Hi girls
Bboo, Stubborn Ox, Lizzy, Southcoast, Sazra - Welcome! Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Pink - I won't get any of the genetic tests back until October. Yay for your belly popping a bit! Can't wait for you scan, I hope you do decide to find out the sex, I don't think I could stand the anticipation! lol!

Summa - Thanks. Dad is seeing a specialist today, or he is seeing someone today, I'm having trouble keeping up with who he is seeing!
So wonderful that DH finally got to feel bubs kick! What a great moment for him. Do you have any pics of the nursery yet? Sounds like the room has undergone a big facelift.

Silent - How are you doing hun?

Lisa - Yay for finally getting a cot! Sounds like quite the bargain too. Oh and the baby shower - You're going to be a busy bee! Are you having a theme or doing games or anything?
Glad that you enjoyed aqua aerobics.

Nocturne - Yeh they have gotten to the bottom of it. Dad has been having strokes but because he was very sick with a virus as well, it sort of disguised it. But the MRI confirmed the mini stokes. He's lost about 10kg in the last few weeks, he reckons it's the best diet ever!
Yippee for hitting the 2nd trimester! Oh and I definitely think a week off work for your birthday is a great excuse!

Tin - Good to hear from you again. TTC is a tough gig, it's good to share the weight with others who are going through the same thing. We're all here to support each other. Good luck with the house offer, hope you get it!

Southcoast - When are you seeing the Dr about the sperm results? I know it's tough hearing bad results, we went through the same thing last year with DH's sperm test. It's natural to be upset and say/think silly things, you both need time to digest the news.
Just remember that your DH is scared too, and is quite likely feeling emasculated and saying things he doesn't really mean. Hang in there hun.

Chic - Yay for 2 embies on board! So excited for you and as always I have every finger and toe crossed that this time will be successful.
As mentioned above, I won't get my BT results until October. I'm not ripping the walls down waiting this time, I'm just so over it all!

AFM - Dad got sent back to hospital AGAIN last Thursday for a suspected clot. But they sent him home that evening after checking him out. I've been calling every couple of days and he seems to be getting better from this virus at least. I think he's driving Mum up the wall, so he must be getting better.

Thanks so much for the welcome stubbornox, chicparis, lovepink, bboo, magicmud. This place is a bit daunting - never realised there was so much too it !

I am a bit hesitant as to what success we'll have as I have a high BMI - although I have recently been trying to eat much healthier way more veggies etc. so hoping that will change a bit. I used to weigh much more and have blood pressure probs etc. but not now. The GP I saw the other day did suggest losing weight but didn't seem to think it would be a problem with conceiving - but I am having my own doubts...crazy town and I think I am just being a bit paranoid since we've only been trying about 2 months.

Chic - Those transferred embies sound positive! for stickiness!

Nocturne - Have a good week off AND have a good birthday! Hope it's a relaxing time for you.

Lovepink - Ooh how exciting to be starting to show a little! Hmm, at this (unpregnant) stage I can easily say that I would want the sex of the baby to be a surprise, but I can just see myself straining to get a glimpse at the scan and then being thoroughly annoyed with myself for spoiling the surprise. Haha. Anyway, good luck with the scan!

Magic - for your dad. Hopefully he is on the mend!
I think the Nimbin 'attraction' you were referring to was the museum, we went in there but by that stage the boys had returned and had no patience for any of the hippiness so I didn't get a good look. I wanted to go to the candle factory, but like I said, no patience. Too much caffeine perhaps?

Summa - How very special that DH was able to feel bub kick. I'm with the others - photos of the room please!

Lisa - So good to hear you found a cot AND that they let you take it home this time! Oh wow that sounds like an epic baby shower! I hope you have the space for it!

Tinuviel - Welcome back. I know what you mean about the impact on your love life, . I found it we had good months and bad months and so hopefully things pick up for you soon! Congrats on the house, your offer is accepted!

Stubborn Ox - Welcome to our crazy place! I actually was about to suggest you join us here but then you popped up before I had the chance!

Sazra, Lizzzy and BBoo - Welcome on board! Hope your time here is short!

Southcoast - Welcome as well! for DH's sperm results but like what other girls have said on here bad results aren't always the be all and end all, and what's most important is if you stick together! When do you visit the Dr?

Angel and Silent - How are you girls? Thinking of you both

Phewf! Is that everyone? to anyone I might have missed!

AFM - Well the evil witch turned up late this afternoon. Sigh. We have two cycles until our IVF consult and sometimes I'm relieved by it and then other times I'm dreading it. Anyway, if we're now a couple with 'normal' chances of getting pregnant, then not having succeeded by the third try is hardly reason to throw in the towel! I think I might look into OPKs for this round, so be prepared for a bombardment of questions! Starting with, what's the best brand? Do I buy them from the supermarket, chemist or online?

[Yes! I just successfully planted the idea into SILs head that she and my brother should go enjoy a night out tonight ]
