Summa - the slings are gorgeous, especially for newborns - they look so cute in them! Have you tried ASOS for maternity clothes? I've bought a few things from there (nothing recently, I've sorta been collecting pieces) and you can get them soo cheaply, and they look great. How exciting that you have a fair dinkum bump now

Silent - sorry to hear you guys are having problems

AFM - well, I went to the baby expo today with DH and some friends; I bought an Ergo which was very exciting. The lady spent ages showing me how it all works, and I tried it with a lifelike (and weight) doll - you can hardly notice you're wearing a baby at all! $30 off too so that was a bonus.

Also, I managed to hear the HB this morning!!!!! I was so excited I woke DH up and just shoved an earphone at him. It was pretty cool

Jeepers, we sure are getting slack in here! Page 2 again!

Nocturne - How exciting hearing the heat beat! And congrats on making your announcement on facebook!!!

Summa - You're welcome for the hugs hun. I don't think a loss gets any easier, no matter what.
Thanks for stalking my diary. I'm waiting to hear about Dads test results today.
Yay for 21 weeks and that ever expanding belly! Sounds like youre in need of a new wardrobe.. how about some sexy moo-moos? Or a burlap sack?

Silent - So sorry that you are having a rough patch with DP. Hope you will sort out your issues.

AFM - Dad had another episode the night I left their place and was taken back to hospital for 3 days. He had an MRI and some spots showed up on his brain. They now think he might be having mini strokes. He's having more tests done today to find out what the heck is going on.

    Summa, yay for your belly!

Nocturne, must have been so good to announce it!

This is going to be all about me here.

So DP has come out and told me he doesn't want to get married, and he doesn't want children. I'm stupidly confused and hurt. Why would he agree to have his sperm tested if he didn't want children? And if he really did, what made him change his mind so quickly or tell me that he doesn't.

At this stage I'm back at my parents place, depressed out of my skull. I had my wisdom teeth out yesterday and I feel like I have nothing to live for.

    Silent.

Hello, I snuck away on my interstate holiday and hadn't posted much before that. I'm home now and very verrry tired (having a cabin on the Spirit does not ensure a full night's sleep but it is a hell of a lot better than trying to sleep in a recliner!)

Shall come back later on tomorrow and properly catch up. But first to catch up on sleep!

Gosh it's been a while since I posted!! But I have been reading along (although there hasn't been much happening in here, we are all slacking I see)

Silent You are a strong person and you will get through this hard patch.

Magic, big to you too. Sorry to hear about your dad...

Nocturne, being able to finally announce must be an amazing feeling

Summa, Yay for finally popping! so exciting

Hi Lovepink, nocturne, elly, Lisa and anyone I may have missed

AFM, not much happening at the moment, still popping estrogen pills and going for another BT and scan on thursday. Hopefully my lining will be ready (it was at 6.8 last week so I would think so) and they can schedule me in for transfer on sunday or so. This waiting is killing me, it's taking so much longer than my normal cycle. And DH needs to travel next week so I'm really hoping the transfer happens as soon as possible because he wouldn't dream of not being here for it...

Silent, im so sorry things arent going too well with your DP. I hope you guys can work things out!! think whats important, him or having a baby! your still so young!! Oh and keep up with your studies to, good distraction.

Magic, sorry to hear about your Dad, i hope the doctors find out whats wrong and get him better soon. you dont need the extra stress you poor thing. Big HUGS! whats happening with TTC? sorry havent stalked your diary.

Elly, hi, glad you had a nice holiday! whats happening with TTC?

Angel, whats happening with you? i hope your Preg is going well.
Anyone testing soon? i cant keep up with everyone!

Hi to Summa, any more purchases yet? I keep putting my shopping off. starting to plan a baby shower which will be good. My MIL keeps bring me baby stuff!! i know i should be grateful but its every week! Even bringing SIL's old baby stuff over which is yuck cause its stained etc!! she said if i dont want give it to the salvo's! lucky salvo's!! im being a snob i guess but only the best for my bump! Only 6 more shifts of work to go. still feeling pretty good but starting to get a sore back and just harder to do things like heavy lifting bending etc. oh well.

Went to 1st Antenatal class yesterday. it was ok but didnt really learn anything i didnt already know from my books and bubhub. poor Dh was so bored. they kept going on about relaxation techniques/pain releif etc. Im def having an epidural. Im really scared of it to. ive seen a few go in and they seem very painful. im still looking for a nice second hand cot but im running out of time as i do want to start my nursery. so not sure... may have to buy a cheaper new one. Summa, are you getting lots of kicks now?

Glad things are going well for you nocturne.

Chic, i think that its gone fast for you! another transfer this sunday? are they transfering 2 this time? Are you taking the progesterone pessaries afterwards. they helped Summa and I. good luck!

well got 3 days off!! im very slack lately! still very unorganised but plntly of time unless things dont go to plan! Starting preg aqua areobics tomorrow which should be good.

Right, so I'm not even sure where I was up to before I left so I'll just do my best!

Magic - for your dad. Hope they get some answers soon with the specialist. I had to laugh at the image of you dissecting a HPT to scan it (yep I stalk your diary too!). Hopefully your symptoms aren't just there to trick you and you get your BFP!

Summa - You're sounding organised! Good luck with the clothes shopping - one of our travelling companions is 6 months pregnant and I followed her around department stores looking at maternity clothing. Wow the selection is pitiful! Most of the time it was one teensy rack with lots of black or grey and ugly misshapenness. I felt sorry for the pregnant ladies who can't fit into normal clothes any more. I'm glad I'm aware of this now, it's high time I honed my sewing skills!

Lisa - Woo for only 6 shifts left to go at work! I hope you find yourself a cot soon.

Chic - Ooh another transfer on Sunday! I hope it all goes well for you this time.

Nocturne - Hooray for the facebook announcement!

to everyone else. Hope you're all well!

AFM - I've put more detail into my diary, but basically I'm about 8DPO and like last month have no symptoms - ie o-pain or sore and swollen boobs. I'm not yet worried, because AF turned up on time last month so I'm guessing maybe it's just something different and if I wasn't so hypersensitive about my body I wouldn't be noticing.

I'm not really sure we gave it our best on the BD front this month, time will tell! We did have a fabulous holiday and it was maybe a day too long, which is pretty good all up! We're still on excellent terms with our travelling companions which is ideal and quite rare I'm sure! DH and T visited about 20 different coffee related places - espresso bars, roasteries and a plantation (near Nimbin - I was left to fend for myself in Nimbin for 1 1/2 hours! The stories are true - I was offered dope 5 or more times and LSD once! ) and they now have grand plans to open an espresso bar here which is great because our city is in desperate need of a decent one. M and I did lots and lots of shopping and the poor car was stuffed to bursting by the end of the trip. Lots of fun!

Default Looking for words of wisdom...

    APOLOGIES IN ADVANCE....ME POST!

I feel terrible that i haven't been around for such a long time..i've been quietly reading everyone's journey (the few posts that have been here).. and i'm back because i've had a bad day, and i know that you guys in here have sooo much knowledge and experience.. i'm after honest information/opinion (regardless of how hard it may be!)

    Here's my story:
11:45 at work... went to toilet.. blood on toilet paper when wiping
12:00 at work... went to toilet.. blood on toilet paper when wiping...
Rang OB.. they asked me to come in at 1:15... rang DP he met me there...
12:50 stopped at McDonalds... busting for a wee.. went to toilet.. no blood
1:20 internal ultrasound.. OB couldn't see anything? Just a small mass, when he took out the wand, it was covered in blood.

    I thought i would have seen a heart beat or something.. i'm 6weeks 4days?!

OB has thrown the word Ectopic pregnancy out there... but at the same time said his Ultrasound machine might not have been sensitive enough to pick it up? Is that possible??

Since coming home i have had two wees and both times when i wiped i have had some blood.. one had (TMI) some stringy blood clots, the other was more brown than red...

Any ideas? I'm fearful of having a miscarriage... but trying to stay hopeful.

I had a blood test today to check HCG levels, will have a different ultrasound tomorrow and then another blood test on Friday for HCG comparitive levels...

I know that on Friday at about 4/5pm i will have the full picture and a definitive answer.. but until then, need to know what i might be up for!

    Thanks in advance!
    A
